I know I'm 3 years late. No, Axl is not Brian Johnson. It's not fare to compare him to Brian. They're two different artists with different styles. But I have to absolutely agree, Axl in my opinion did a phenomenal job.
This tour was one of the most astonishing vocal performances of all time. It is difficult to believe that a human being can pull off a world tour with two hour shows with this intensity, but when you do it while being on another world tour your real band, also with more- than -two- hour shows, at age 55, after all the legal and illegal drugs, the booze, the cigarettes , the previous world tours with GN´R, well, it just becomes a miracle.
If he didn’t have his own band and it hasn’t been 20 years and it ended up being the third largest tour of all time. Yeah, he does pretty big band…. I saw him twice with AC/DC. He took them to a level that I had never seen and I have seen AC/DC five times. I mean you’re talking about a guy who when he was on well it’s true. He has the greatest octave range of any singer.
