Axl is doing better again. I’ve seen them since the beginning and probably at least 25 times. After they came back in 2016ish i could t believe how good he was still and yes of course age made some stuff go but he did amazing so i went on to keep going to their concerts for awhile then out of nowhere is was really bad and i even sold tickets that i had for a small venue that has a section with clinches near stage and you get free drinks and food delivered right to you on your couch. I couldn’t believe i was selling them -he was so bad at singing i just didn’t want that my last memory. But it looks like he’s working that all out and at his age that is hard to do. Good for him -I’ll go again if he can pull off 60% of it. If you don’t v]believe me on how bad it got look at him sing November rain at the funeral of Elvis Presley’s daughter (Lisa Marie) a few years ago. I had just seen him a year or 2 prior and he did it 90% spot on. Good for you Axl keep working I’m coming back. I’ve been there since day one when nobody knew about you guys. I was a street kid at the time so i heard about you guys underground so I’m one of the lucky ones who saw you before you blew up.

His compression is all but none existent, which makes the twang and head voice weak. But this was comparitively good for him, kudos axl you still got it in you
Axl is a great performer and singer and I love him and GnR. However, In my opinion, Billy Joel and Axl have very different vibe and are not a good match.
