They're 2 completely different artists. Collaborating as a duo will allow both sides to compromise at some point. In Outkast's regard, Andre was the driving force of creativity and people appreciate it. No shade against Big Boi but his bars and flow just can't hang with Andre's. Even Big Boi has sad this. Appreciate them both but recognize the strengths and weaknesses.

    • @myopinionmeansmore

@@brodiethegoaty849 you realize Andre has said the same thing about Big Boi, right?? Neither of them is just going to be like "I'm better than him." Andre's style is more versatile, to say Big Boi can't hang...what was he doing on all their albums. He wasn't being carried, and he writes his own shit. All your comment did was shade Big Boi, if you like dre more, just say that. Don't be passive-aggressive. Also, show me one time Big Boi's pen was weak.

Can't believe there are people in the comments coming at the way Mike is speaking. Enunciating words is crucial for an interviewer. Coming here and expecting barbershop talk is a representation of yourself not evolving. Time and place for everything. Bless up.

I’m so thankful that Killer Mike acknowledged what Big Boi contributed to the first two albums of Outkast… People always talk about Andre 3000 and he is one of the greatest but Big Boi was the one who helped solidified them as a southern staple until Andre hit his stride on Aquemini and helped propel the group worldwide. Lyrically Big Boi was topping Dre on the majority of songs on the first two albums but it took a while before Dre created a lane where he was able to convey himself artistically. He had a few moments here and there on ATLiens but it really clicked on Aquemini.

Big Boi is a legend and all round good guy. I met him at afterparty in Melbourne Australia. I was trying to holla at a chick in the VIP section and I was outside the section, he saw what I was doing came over to me shook my hand and said " you hustler man, I lead the league in assisting watch this" he proceeds to whisper in the girls ear and walks away. The chick comes back straight to me and says I didn't know your big boi cousin, I'm like yeah I'm his African cousin living in Australia.. I got skins that night💪🏾💪🏾💯

I danced my heart out to OutKast when I was young. It’s a beautiful thing for them to have maintained a lifetime friendship, it’s rare, especially amongst men, it warms my heart. I sure miss them though, I hope one day they will come out for one night and take us back to our younger days.

Much respect to Big Boy for opening doors for so many others and showing love and lending that helping hand and being a vessel for others. #Salute Looking forward to many more of these videos
