Need to get a switch! I Just keep putting it off. Might be glad I did because I like the features on this model. I've been going back and forth between my Nobsound av 525 and my Forte Audio model 3 amp. This beats unplugging and plugging in different speaker cables! Great review, thank you.
Thanks Gabby! I appreciate it! Oh and you inspired me to upgrade my Streamer! I plan to add Ian Canadas Q7ii as DDC inside of my Cambridge 851N and give it an IIS output! 👍
Hi, new to your channel, here. I have both solid state (vintage Marantz & modern NAD) and a late 50's Harmon Kardon all tube a/b integrated Chorale amp. I know tube amps - at least guitar amps - MUST have a speaker load at all times while powered on or you will fry the output section. Does this, or any of the other units you've tested, have a feature to maintain a speaker load for whatever amp is hooked up, turned on, but not currently selected? Thank you, sir!
Hey John. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. As your your question. I don't have an answer but I just sent an email out to my contact at the manufacturer and I'll let you know as soon as i get a reply. I think maybe a few days. Have a great weekend.
@johncartwright243 Hey John, I just received a reply to your question! Here you go: "Regarding viewer's question, yes, we have taken into account this situation of connecting a load to the amplifier when it is operating, and we have set up a 510 ohm load for the unselected channel to prevent damage to the power amplifier"
Rick, I have a question I am new to this ! So to hook up a amplifier or receiver do yo use the speaker inputs on the amplifier or receiver and plug them into the amplifier inputs and then the speakers plug directly into the speaker outputs of the neohipo Thanks in advance, hope you understand my question.
For the ET30, it's a speaker level device. It had no RCA input so the signal comes from your amp/receiver, then goes to the ET30 to either AMP A or AMP B inputs via speaker cable, then another speaker cable from the Speaker 1 or Speaker 2 output to your speakers. I like to make a short patch cable (about 18inches) with banana plugs and 12ga cable.
Hi. Great video. Tks for sharing. Can I use two preamps connected to one power amp. I have a Mcintosh preamp for stereo and Onkyo AVR pre for movies. Both go into my Mcintosh power amp. Currently, I switch cables whenever i want to listen to music or watch movies as I have only 1 input for my power amp. So would I be able to use this to switch between both my preamps connected to my power amp without switching cables. I would not be using the speaker switches nor volume control. Also, will there be any sound degradation?
No, this wouldn't work for 2 pre-amps to one amp. For that you would need RCA (Line Level). Watch my video on Douk L3. That's the one you need. Thanks for watching.
i like this one the best of the three the douk is too small. the fosi has watts listed on its meters which are meaningless. the fosi is smaller than this also. for a meter show, give me the Neohipo.

Yeah, for sure makes it easier! Thanks for watching!
Got the Neohipo ET30 also few months ago. I find it works good !
Nice! Glad to hear. Thanks for watching!
@@RickRuizAudio thanks for the review. I also had the douk but swapped for this. Extra points showing inside of the unit. 👍
Nice detailed review keep up the great work Subscribed, hope you reach the 1000 mark soon you have a lot of great content 🙂

Hello Rick!
It's works with receiver/speakers in 8ohms??
Yes it does. But I am no longer recommending this unit because I had 2 go bad within 10 months. I'm now recommending Douk VU3 Pro. amzn.to/4ezAAD3
May i know after plug in the power cable, does it auto turn on? or you need manually turn on everytime it connect to the power.
Once it is plugged in, it is on. No power switch. It will stay on once power is available.

When switching between speakers is there any delay, or interruption? Switching aberrations of any kind? Thanks.
No it's all analog. But you do hear the click of the relay so it isn't silent.
@@RickRuizAudio Rick, Thank You for your timely reply. If I decide to purchase this switcher I'll use your link.

Yeah it's definitely a cool piece.
since the Fosi version of this VU meter came out Neohipo has jacked up their prices. from 139 to 169. ill pass at that price.
Or wait for prime day and see what the sales are. I know I've seen Fosi amps go on sale at pretty good discounts.
VU meters are only useful for recording, otherwise they’re useless eye candy🙈💩.
Lol. Yup. But nothing wrong w eye candy. Thanks for watching Steve. I appreciate it 👍
