I have a son-in-law that can do that good. My job looks like a motor cross track or a wash board. People who have never tried dozing have no idea how hard it is to do that. It takes years to get that good !!!
i do agree sir.
people mostly say that the operator on this video doesnt know what is he doing.
@@BulldozerMountain I disagree. His work is superb.
I ran a grader for a bit. They let me jump in and move dirt around. Easy to create a washboard.
What you talking about mate you just operate the machine like my dad says to me let the machine do the work
The fact this operator makes it look so easy shows his skill and expertise. 👍
thanks dennis
Dozers are fun machines in good dirt. After so many hours on a machine, you get the feel in the seat of your pants. Sound of engine and machine etc tells you how much load is on the blade. Once all is set right, takes very little adjustment on control levers. Machines are designed so well to doze smoothly forward. Back dragging is easy. Put in float position. Operator just adjusts steering.
@@BulldozerMountain welcome
Even my uncle who operated a motor grader, supervised prisoners, and was an expert in road-building for the state of N.C. would have been impressed. Great job!
thanks sir i appreciate it 👍👍
Most of us who are grader operators have put time in on a dozer as well as most other pieces of heavy equipment. We need to be efficient on all types of heavy equipment.
i know sir, but we dont have motor grader here
He should be floating his blade in reverse. It helps compact the material smooths out the track marks and provides a better visual of the cut for the next cut . Just a little 2 cents from an old timer
thanks for the tips
It's a fantastic job not many grader operators can do a final cut like that whith a grader it's just a pity with the first big rain it will be washed out
thank sir
but for this kind of soil it won't washed out acording to our experiance
It looks pretty good but those side slopes are sketchy. We slope solid rock like that but everything else gets at least a 2.5:1. That looks like a 1:2 or steeper which is probably fine for the area but not exactly ideal.
thanks for ur tips, i'm not really sure what they work like that
Looking good 👍let's see after rain 🌧
why?
it's rainy and nothing happen
@@BulldozerMountain sometimes rain changes things and floods different areas of the road side hopefully nothing will happen
Very good blade control , it is something that comes to you in time, no theories just practice.
thanks sir

That is a big cut in the hill side good work
thanks sir
Dozers and graders require different techniques and finesses. This project is looking great, and I'm sure that the possibility of landslides was taken into account long before this road even started.
for this kind of soil there is a less posibility of landslides
I’m amazed! Great work! And no Electronics to guide the construction equipment is awesome...
Glad you liked it!
Great efforts but what about winter ??
we dont have winter sir. tropis

Tires and tracks wear out at different rates, with different cost.
Those tracks will cost a lot to replace when they go.
the work is too minimal to provide a motor grader to this job site
Ótimo trabalho. Perfeito!
obrigado amigo
Maybe running a grader for a few years is why I have so much trouble on a dozer 😂
yeah, that two heavy equipment is not the same 😂😂😂
Beautiful work !!

Haha. We had a grader man at US Borax who was so good we'd call his roads Jackson Hiways.
he has great experiance tho

Good rugged mountain road with some terracing and avoidance of rock. Diversion ditches. Wasting dirt off on side area for parking room or turnaround. Is that a Komatsu? The blade cylinder seem to be designed for a 6 way inside mount blade and not a c-frame blade. No silt fence! Love it
yes this is KOMATSU D68ESS
Smooth as ice cream!!!!

Sy sebagai ex operator dozer caterpilar D 8 jadul / turun naik pisau pake sling di th '74 an, salut atas prestasi anda
wah keren D8.
sekarang sudah pensiun kah?
Bener sy sdh pensiun umur sdh mencapai 71 th, tp masih ingan cara menghidupnan mesin dieselnya dg bantuan motor tempel bensin sebagai ststernya, handel turun naik pisau ada di sebelah kanan jok
List of equipment says dozer is a Cat D7R. Cat makes great equipment, power to weight ratio is perfect. Long life. Can be rebuilt many times. Easy to operate. Best cabs for air conditioning, clean well filtered air to breath, premium hydraulics especially in freezing weather. I have run Fiat Allis, Kamatsu, and Cat. Cat is by far the best all around.
This operater is of the best of the best.
I 'd like to see how he handles a PH9.
Great suggestion!
Isn’t that a broken off track pad in the foreground @ 3:06!
ahahaha you noticed that huh
Amazing 👍💪💪
Thanks 🔥
Ok thanks you 👍👍🙏
The bulldozer operator is very goo. However, I suspect the road and the sidewalls of the road, will be completely washed out after a serious hard rain.
we know sir, but in our experiance it gonna happen for this kind of clay sir
Querer es poder y se abren caminos para todos FELICIDADES

Nice work

That bank is so steep, it will collapse during rainy season, you have a lot more work to do to establish a safe cut.
it's rainy now in our country, for this kind of soil after being hit by rain it will get denser
Very amazing operator grader, it makes us interested to watch your video. Good luck my brother. 👍🙏❤
Thank you so much 😀
You idiot there is no grader in the video. Know what you're commenting on that is a bulldozer a grader is a long machine with wheels not tracks. With a blade in between the wheels

wow 30 years, what an experiance
The benching is beautiful. I wonder if it already plan. Are he did it while he goes.
he is an grader operator
Great job I miss it dearly work till the landfill for 30 years operated just about every piece of equipment there is till they put me out to pasture my spine collapse those machines will beat you up my favorite was always excavator but I like Dozer are too some people have it some people don't I don't care how long they've been operating I've seen people operate 20-30 years still dig a hole with a loader go back the next day to load trucks you got a big hole full of water what the hell you definitely have to become one with the machine you have to feel it smell it anyway great job
what a great experiance. i meet a legend
thank sir, i appreciate it
I didn't see a motor grader. The dozer operator seems to be doing ok
i mean, the one who operate dozer is a motor grader operator sir
Funny thing, I did so much dozing, I too could build and grade roads with a dozer, but I suck with a motor grader lol

@@BulldozerMountain same color dirt. Nice video 📹 👍
It should know how to operate every piece of equipment that jobs got
they try their best sir
I've operated for 50+ years and I will say thats lot of dirt cut and movement! What is the goal? The slopes are 1 to 1, so the slopes shear factor comes into safety concerns. Don't like the idea of having collapsed slopes killing someone! Why not cut 2 to 1 with benchs 10ft wide? Then look at the amount of disturbance to surrounding area. From what I can see on the video, not much of soul erosion control to protect the wooded area or storm water control as well. A beginner can move a mountain and make it look like a war zone, but a professional operator will make it look like a work of art while being safe and concerned about the whole area. Remember this, d 8s d 10s ,Excavators ,12 g or 24g h or Whatever, their all toys in a beginners day but their machines in a professional world!!!🤔!!.
Thank you sir for your correction and input.
