I know that Beauty Bakery was throwing some petty shade at her....and deservingly so. Her brand has a strong place in the market place and she shouldn't be stealing a brand's whole look for a launch.

I don't consider it petty for anyone to state that they are hurt by someone taking their design and then claiming that they didn't know the brand existed after they contacted BB for a PR kit last fall.

As soon as I saw the packaging I was like noooo Huda, its looks so much like "Beauty Bakery"
Huda Beauty has a web series on Facebook. They actually showed what happen to their concealer. She stopped the release and lost 1.5 million dollars because she tried the finished product of the concealer and did not like how it performed. Huda said the demo concealer she was using was perfect but what their manaufactered in mass was a different formula and consistency. So she stopped the release and is fixing it now

I love the way Cinnabon melted into your skin when you put it on. Definitely too similar to Beauty Bakerie with the packaging. I do like the variety of shades it comes in though. Also THANK You for the foundation reference list. I bought Jackie’s new shade Tiramisuto be supportive, Love it, but i think Hazelnut will be my perfect match now.
When I first saw this on Instagram I was like hold up it looks too much like beauty bakerie and also the packaging also looks like the maybelline loose powders!! Huda! Girrrll! What is you doing!!??

Wow! Thanks for the review. I realize that the Huda baking powder is priced higher than the competing brands & the amount of product is less. But to be honest, I’d rather spend my money on Huda because I’m able to go to Sephora to do a match test BEFORE buying the product. Also, they’re one of the few brands that offer powder for dark chocolate girls so that we don’t have to walk around looking ashy.
The Sephora incident was all too real, happens to me all the time. I get the “you don’t sound black” comment...

I thought kunafa would be a dark yellow powder like on the box but it’s like light honey mustard yellow smh. That’s why reviews are so important.
I watch her show on FB she was going to come out with concealers but she pulled back last minute because the final formula was streaky so she didn’t put it out :( I love your videos btw ! Definitely that girl at Sephora could have handled that better because you needed a darker shade anyway. Also I’m highly allergic to most fragrance so I can’t try any of this stuff.
I liked the foundation a lot too but wow that fragrance is a lot to take in lol. I’m usually not even sensitive to scents but it’s really strong

Most definitely Beauty Bakery vibes....but I will say this, all the complexion products looked great on you......I was matched to the Huda Beauty foundation that you're wearing and you seriously got me wanting to spend the $40 they asking for lol...as far as the powders, I would probably get one but not right away....

I personally have been a huge fan of Huda all up until the rose gold remastered drama. I feel like announcing her palette was “limited edition” was super shady so that’s when she lost me. However, I don’t have any problem with how she packaged her new powder. Loose powder is often used for baking so it’s likely to make the packaging baking turned! Plus her foundation and also like half the other high end brands have dessert there named foundations so there’s a lot of similarities between brands these days. I don’t think it’s right to automatically accuse huda beauty of copying beauty bakery.

Kunafa alone for you setting/baking your highlight areas is too light but Cinnamon Bun alone doesn't give it any oomph either.
I think you should mix Kunafa+Cinnamon Bun.
I purchased her products it's not that bad, it smell like rose then vanished away. I love this baking powder I actually use it as a based before applying my foundation. The smell is not that bad unless you don' like rose smell which goes away

She was going to come out with a concealer but something went wrong before the concealer was to be shipped so she had to start the project from scratch. Huda wanted something to release so she had to put out the easy bake powder

I can't bring myself to use my own money to buy this but lol when my birthday comes around I know what I'll be telling my sister or mom to get me. I'm pretty tempted to try out Cinnamon Bun & Kunafa (Cinnamon Bun for all over face and then that mixed with Kunafa for under eye).
I really want to try this foundation but fragrances in cosmetics don't work for me 😞
I’ve worked with Huda several times.. she’s super down to earth and makes a real effort with her products to cater to all skin tones.. people have to keep in mind she’s new in the makeup game, all of the products she’s launching are a 1st for her and she’ll release more shades with time.
With that being said this video was bomb! Love how honest your product reviews are!

You can’t get Beauty bakery in Sephora. Huda and Sephora know that ... Sephora should be better about getting black owned brands in the store even on trial basis .
My flour setting powder is better than the samples from Huda anyway. She copied for the hype and her powder would be forgotten about soon enough.
Kaysinger that smell people keep commenting on is enough for me to not be that curious . Vanilla / chocolate are comforting scents . But her products just sound like they would trigger allergies

I just have to say this for the people in the comments: Y’all talking about Huda “stealing” a concept from BB (which isn’t a new one btw, Jessica Simpson started that trend way before both of them). Yet, none of you addressing why BB literally ripped off the Beauty Blender sponge, down to the color!
You all celebrate it when Bad Habit rips off Huda’s products, but Huda can’t use a similar marketing (which still isn’t original to BB, and doesn’t belong to BB) from another brand.
Dol _ beauty blenders come in loads of colours and literally every brand has a beauty sponge. If that’s how you see it then every brand copies beauty blender tbh
