Thank you so very much for this video you are the first person who explained the difference in the powders cause i was confused as hell i appreciate you so much uve gained a new follower ❤❤❤
Gurll!! Where do I begin? I'm 40 years old, and I've never applied my own makeup. I've always paid for a makeup artist to do my makeup if I have an event to attend. Also, I think part of the reason why I've never applied my own makeup was it looked and sounded complicated to apply. I didnt want to apply it wrong than end up looking like a clown. I feel like all the make up artist Ive used they've never matched my foundation and concealer. Also, the make is always over the top, I looked like plastic and cakey. Being 40, I thought, why not start learning how to apply my own makeup😂😂. And also since it's the end of the year I have alot of events to attend, I cant keep paying for a makeup artist to do my makeup for $120 each time 😅.l So i watched your tutorials (yes, a lot of them). From there, I thought to myself, I needed to find a foundation and concealer that matched my skin. So I took a leap of faith😂 and took the IL MAKIAGE test, and bought the foundation and concealer. Gurrlll, they nailed my foundation and concealer. but if it wasn't for your very informative step by step techniques from your tutorials, like from setting powder and pressed powder to contouring my make up would not have looked SNATCHED like flawless but most of all it was natural. I had received loads of compliments from the wedding I had attended. Mind you, I'm in Australia and it's very hot where I am. The wedding was an outdoor late afternoon one, gurlll my makeup was set like a rock. It lasted the whole wedding until I got home that evening. The first time I ever had the courage to apply my own makeup and I killed it thanks to you 🎉😊❤
Awwww I’m so glad you learned to do your own makeup i be glad reading comments like these because it’s so sweet and it’s actually encouraging for others to see…i learned the same way lol from TH-cam and TikTok…I’m 20tho
You need to get another powder, there must be a light reflecting ingredient in the one you have. Siloca is the main culprit (it's used to absorb oil) But others to a less degree are; Zinc oxide, Titanium dioxide, Mica, shimmer and glitter.
There are photo ready powders, however, I learned that W.O.C must have a slight tint in their powder to prevent flashback in photographic images i.e yellow or brown. Hope this helps 🙏
For a person like me who’s a total novice when it comes to makeup - This was truly helpful. Getting the right type of makeup can be so confusing and overwhelming. Also thank you for including tips for older/wrinkled skin.
I’ve said this before and I’ll keep on saying this: YOU ARE MY FAVORITE MUA! I learn so much from your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
I don’t use foundation but am a heavy mineral sunscreen user followed by a skin tint. What to use to set with? Not trying to bake, but would like to apply powder all over. What to use and do?! Help!!! Por favor!
Ok. Im still confused on the translucent. Its an oxymoron. It says its translucent, meaning applies clearcor without color to all akin tyoes, BUT (here's the confusing part)....it comes in different shades! So IF it's translucent and doesn't have a color, why come in different shades and if i buy a shaded translucent powder (which is likened to a dry, rainy day), does it apply with color? If so, then its NOT translucent afterall. Uggg! Trying to wear makeup correctly is exhausive to my beginner brain!
“Baking powder” is just setting powder. Baking is just a technique where you leave the powder wherever you’ve applied your concealer, and the heat from your face “bakes” the concealer into place to set it. I think it’s confusing for people to call it “baking powder” lol 😂
Please ma'am I have issues identifying the colour of setting powder for my skin type.i am chocolate in colour please what type of shade of setting powder can I use
Hey, i have a question. Can i apply compact powder over loose powder? I mean not straight away over loose powder, after few hours when i need to touch up my makeup??
So is a pressed powder NOT a powdered foundation? If not, can I use a powdered foundation that's the same color as my liquid foundation as the setting powder @AyeJay

What if you only use concealer so you can't put anybpowder on foundation but want to take away the shininess from your whole face
You can still use setting powder, I use only concealer too.
I love my loose powder but how do I get it to not show up in pictures !!! You could see it!!

I think you’re thinking of transparent. Translucent is sort of the medium between transparent and opaque.
Thank you! Didn’t know I could use loose finishing powder to set concealer.
Which powder do you use to set your primer (before foundation)? I've used both loose and pressed skin-toned powders.
Wow I wanted to buy baking powder few days ago and I was so confused, thanks for this video it really help😊.

I got lost in the rabbit hole 😅 but I love ittt and thank you for the content!
Could u do a video on how to prevent/ deal with oxidation? Like how to prevent your face from slowly turning orange throughout the day?
Thanks for the tips! Can we use blurring (loose) powder to bake and/or set as well?
Please is baking powder same as setting powder? Can you do a video to explain the difference between baking powder and setting powder? Thank you

Yes
Very helpfull

Ofc 💕 hope it was helpful
Yes it was🙂
I needed this 😂 I didn’t no what color too get
It all adds color because it’s not your skin tone. So yes it adds color.
So would you use a banana loose baking powder on a neutral warm skin tone?
This was so helpful. Thank you
Do any of these powders give flashback ❤
Very helpful! You’re are so gorg btw!
Hey, i have a question. Can i apply compact powder over loose powder? I mean not straight away over loose powder, after few hours when i need to touch up my makeup??
Yes, that's often recommended, that your touch up powdee be pressed, because loose powder is kind of messy for out of home use
T'es française ?
this was SO HELPFUL!!!! thank you! 🙏🏻
What powder puff are you using?
Is the Saie loose powder hood for oily skin?
This was an amazing Video! Thank you!
how does ur skin not look dry with powders, I look like a raisin when I use powders
Moisturizing really good before you apply any products and a really good primer after that. Also serum drops help with hydration.
🥰🥰🥰
So is a pressed powder NOT a powdered foundation? If not, can I use a powdered foundation that's the same color as my liquid foundation as the setting powder @AyeJay
