Nice work, I use a wooden cocktail stick to remove the rubber/chipping solution, works for me anyway. Dragon were very much ahead of the curve back in the day
Hi buddy, I just found your channel. Your stug diorama looks awesome, just amazing. I've picked up a few tips from your build. you have a new subscriber. cheers Gary from the uk 🇬🇧
My absolute favorite tank of all time. Epic diorama. I wish I could buy something like this somewhere. My hands are way to shaky to do it myself. This was an awesome video. I Loved it, so thank you for sharing. The level of detail you put into this is just mind blowing. And that was just the tank. Wow! I'm going to keep coming back to this video to watch it over and over.
@@DIORAMUS- You too mate. You have amazing talent that's a real joy to watch unfold. That diorama is "Perfect". And I wish I was able to replicate it. It must be awesome to be able to look upon such pieces of Art on a daily basis knowing it was your hands that gave them life. I'd buy this piece in a heartbeat. Anyhow thanks again.
Very nice work.I was surprised with your mask choice instead of hairspray/chipping medium tho it came out great.( 90's old school way) Great job all way round.
Great tank the Stuff it's one of my favorite tanks. Somehow I can see is still serving on some waterfront in Eastern Europe like the Ukraine. Upgrade armor, power plant and optics.
Vielen Dank Robi und schön, dass Dir das StuG gefällt. Meine Airbrush ist schon ziemlich alt und von einem deutschen Hersteller den es leider nicht mehr gibt. Die Dichtungen räubere ich von anderen Herstellern.😁
Thanks Peter, interesting point. My research result show two different versions. With holes or without holes. I build the version, defined by the kit. Maybe the version with holes came along with Ausf. G. I have a lack of accurate references on this topic. Anyway thanks for your comment.
@@DIORAMUS- Hi, sorry my comment was very imprecise. The fenders have holes for the lights, yes. But under the fenders there was a trapezoidal metall sheet to support the fender. The older Dragon kits do not have this so you can look through the holes. This is not correct. Glue a thin plastic sheet from inside to "close" the holes and the look is perfect. Sorry. Nice model, great painting!
Thanks Peter, now I know exactly what you mean and yes you are absolutely right, this is not correct. I couldn't have guessed that people would look so closely.😁Great Peter, you are always welcome. Criticism and suggestions are expressly desired and help to make this channel more transparent and also encourages viewers to interact more with the creator for better content.
Thank you very much Jil. Sorry, the Stug is sold already. If you are interested in my work, please feel free to contact me. You can find my e-Mail address in the channel info.
Thanks D, I always glue tank tools on the model. So I can prime tools and the kit in one session. It makes no big difference for me to paint the tools on the kit. It is a kind of lazyness if you will. Additional equipment, like boxes or weapons, need more accurate and fine detailing. I paint them in a seperate session.
I love how everything turned out, it looks amazing. You are great at making your tanks look as realistic as possible. But I must ask because you made me wonder, what material did you use to polish the tanks tracks ?
Hello Sandri and thanks for your nice comment. In this case the tracks are Friul metal tracks. You can polish them with ordinary Sand paper. If you need more reference on weathering plastic tracks please Watch my Möbelwagenvideo or T-34 builds.
Your patience and attention to detail is seriously impressive.. I could never

I bet you had murderous thoughts for the sadist who made those tracks and didn't supply correct pins.
Thanks Ed, that is the scale modelers self selected fate. 😁
Have a nice weekend.

Curieuse but good job
Dragon used a reference photo from a Walter Spielberger book to produce this kit. Curious for sure and definitely no production line unit. 😁
