I’m very glad that you went with kabota! Also a idea for the animals that you might be good is to have a small cement pad just where the animals eat and drink so if it ever get muddy and gross they can dry out their feet and help with their hooves

You should get a forestry drum mulcher attachment. It clears small trees and brush down to the dirt and doesn’t leave the spiky stumps.

From a guy that's been operating skid steer for 30 years, the cats are by far the best on the market. But if you aren't using it for construction there's nothing wrong with the other brands. The deere are usually a pretty good machine but every once and a while no matter what ya buy your gonna get a lemon.

@Logan Hartley the bobcats are good machines too. I mainly do very heavy and demanding machine work so the cats always my first choice, but I've used bobcats quite a bit over the years and I've never had one give me any real problems. The key to keeping Any machine in good running order is maintenance

Love seeing land development videos keep it up. My family has a slightly older kubota with wide tracks and high flow. But we have all the forestry mulcher/shredder attachments for so we can really groom the land. It does a great job making cedar trees disappear and lots of other bigger brush and trees. We also have a feller head for the front of it as well which we use to drop larger trees as well. Good choice I hope you don’t regret it. Keep up the good work

I've ran bobcat, cat, john deer, komatsu and Kubota and I feel like that should be a great machine for what you do! I have most my experience on a cat equipment, but you're right their prices are higher than a giraffe's a** ! And they break down just like everything else does. I feel like you made a great choice and I would love that door flipping up out of the way too! By the way I flipped a 299XD high flow in the creek mulching for a farm and luckily when the bank behind me broke away I had the boom up or I wouldn't have been able to get out of the skid! Swinging door's don't work if you if you're on your side and the boom is down.

  • @Mynameis7nad
    @Mynameis7nad ปีที่แล้ว +3

With all the trees and branches you have to take care of, you should get a mulcher attachment. The shreader is good but the mulcher will take out all that and the larger ones. Then you wont have to burn because the woodchips would break down eventually, or you can use them in the animal areas as bedding or to take care of the mud. Even for the chickens. But they make attachments for the mini or the skid. Or just buy a woodchipper or one that does them really fine for chicken pens.

Make sure when you have the door up on your new kubota and you’re running it you put the safety latches in so the door doesn’t go out of alignment. Also I’d look into renting or buying a fecon head to fit your svl75 it will mulch down full trees and brush piles. We run kubota at our tree service and land clearing company and like them. But with a fecon head you will need to get a forestry window.

I work for a Case and Kubota dealer and there’s a John Deere dealer 5 miles from us and. The Kubota skid steers are starting to take over around here. For the price and the performance they are hard to beat. And haven’t had very many problems with them. The forestry mulcher attachments are awesome. They will pretty much just grind whatever is in the path. The mulcher attachments work great for clearing trails and cleaning up fence row lines.

I hauled an Amish guy around for several years and he had a tracked bobcat skid loader and he ended up selling it and buying a tracked kubota and He definitely thought that the kubota had way more power than his newer bobcat that was the same size!! I also loved the power that his new kubota had over his newer bobcat!! There was definitely several different things that I loved way better for sure!!! I definitely think that you will love your new kubota for sure!!! I actually dug my basement with a John Deere skid loader and the John Deere skid loader was way slower then any other skid loader that I had ran!! I actually took it back and told them I wanted the govener taken off so that you would be faster or I was going somewhere else to rent a much faster skid loader!!! I went and ended up getting a totally different skid loader to rent and dug my intire basement in one weekend and was definitely much happier!!! I ended up renting one bigger then a T300 can’t remember the size but it definitely did everything that I put it threw and didn’t bog down one bit at all!!! I definitely wasn’t happy with John Deere!! Now the very first John Deere skid loader I rented was definitely much faster than the second one that I went and rented and took back in the first hour that I even had it!!! I’d definitely like to no your thoughts on the new skid loader that you got!!!

Great content as always guys. Invest in a stump grinder and a mulcher. Tons of uses for the mulch. Animal and chicken bedding. Add it to flower beds. Use it between the rows in your garden to control weeds. Plus it rots adding nutrients to the soil for next year's crops. If you are going to be doing a ton of fencing get a post driver and a auger but if you're just doing smallish lots try rentals. Saves money and you get to test them out.👍🏻

For the parking lot for the trailers I would recommend putting geo fabric down first it does add a little bit of cost but the rock won’t pack in the dirt and you won’t have to keep adding rock. Also nice skid loader but Takeuchi also has the rook up door. But next time you buy a skid loader I like to set up a demo from multiple brands on the same day and time at your place and try them all out at the same time then the salesman know you mean business and usually gives a better deal to compete.Lastly fun fact John Deere had the roll up door but they changed to the door you had for some reason.

Kubota's are good machines, for what you do it's perfect. the fewer "cool gadgets" a machine has the better they are. My personal opinion is, the only "cool gadgets" a skid loader should have is a reverse camera and auto leveling. All the others are just things that cause issues. My brother has had many different Kubota skid loaders and mini excavators, and he now has the SVL90-2 skid loader and the KX080-4 midsize excavator and he loves them. I really like his KXO80-4 excavator, that thing is a beast.

If your looking for attachments get either a stump grinder or stump forks, stump grinder you have to replace the teeth after a while but it’s quick and easy. Also get a mulcher head if your mowing any trees bigger then 3” also the biggest one would be a clam/grapple attachment. Really enjoy the the content.

I think you're going to be very happy with the Kubota. Check Outdoors with the Morgan's. Mike struck a deal with Kubota and they gave him two tractors, a large and a smaller one to use for two years, and he just had to show them being used on the videos. Mike loves Kubota so much last year that he purchased a skidsteer that looks like yours. Mike's a good guy, and I bet if you email him, you can talk. I would love to hear if you talk to him. Oh, you have a lot more Subs than him.

You definitely need to get a forestry head for it. That would be a game changer for land and brush clearing.

Grew up working in the woods. We had John Deere skiddersand they ran great. Never got to see how they last because dad got killed in the woods when he was 34. Be careful always. Great video

awesome work... you might want to put some landscape fabric down before you do your gravel .. that will help stop weeds from growing through.. something you may want to check is if you have recycled concrete available in your area.. they use that a lot here for road base/parking lots.. lastly.. your other machine may have a button you need to press to put it in high flow..

We run a Gehl skid loader and we love it. But Kubota also makes a great machine.
