I remember hearing about this outbreak in real time and how my school handed out an information pamphlet about Ebola and its symptoms to all of its students in case it were to spread to the US. It was an uncertain time everywhere and nobody knew when and if it was going to stop or at least slow down.

The medical staff did everything they possibly could do! They risked their life every single day, but what should they do if they weren't provided with enough resources, let alone had enough space? I've seen documentary about these field hospitals, turning away people was traumatic for the doctors and nurses, but they had no choice. They deserve respect and not anger.

Janita Boucher You're wrong, the serum needs to be constantly refrigerated. Battery technology has not evolved to the point we can just drop some fridges in Liberia and expect them to stay running. Not to mention the serum is entirely experimental, expensive and time consuming to synthesise. It simply isn't possible to treat every ebola victim in every third world country that catches it.
