Fabulous and so many ideas to apply. Thanks.
Thank you 🙂
Great video as always
Thank you Gary
You make it look so easy! Brilliant paint job! So nervous to paint my first 15mm tank 😅
Oh don’t be nervous, enjoy it, any mistakes can always be fixed.
@@MiniatureRealms thanks! That’s great advice! I’m gonna give it a go tonight :)
@emmamarx9284 Best of luck, let us know how you get on. You can always join the Discord and share pictures there.
Brilliant man. Special place in my heart for the Comet, was my first airfix 1/72 kit as a kid :)
Cheers dude, it’s definitely my current favourite tank.
It was Matchbox not Airfix that released the Comet and came with a small dio base
@Ian Goldstraw Wow I just googled it, apologies. I was about 7 years old so my memory let me down.
@@JMACCSArmiesOfMiddleEarth No probs. Age does that to us all.
Superb !
Thank you 🙂
The thing on the front of the turret is a canvas mantlet cover. In service I belive they were generally a dark green but some images look lighter perhaps brown like is seen on some centurions. Thank you for a great video, I just wish my hobby budget stretched to an air brush being able to apply varnish layers quickly and easily would be a real boon.
Thank you James. It’s definitely a pain for the initial outlay on an airbrush, worth saving up for if that’s an option.
What he said 😉
Looks fantastic and great tips on weathering :)
Thank you Aled 🙂
Fantastic results mate, you've nailed it again!
Cheers mate
Love this tank...looks like a mini Tiger but faster and with a hard punch
Me too, can’t wait to get it on the table.
Nice. Still waiting in anticipation for your tutorial about painting Flames of War German infantry
Thank you. It’s all planned, just for time reasons it will be when I start my Germans. Will cover regular, SS and Fallshirmjager.
Pretty awesome job. I've been thinking of getting an airbrush for a while.
Thank you. I love my airbrush, couldn’t imagine painting without it now, especially tanks.
Great video! What PSI were you set to for the Vallejo paint? I’ve had a lot of issues with Vallejo through the brush.
Thank you 😂 I think between 20-25 usually, son or super low.
Great result and terrific video. I was thinking you might also enjoy the Mig Rainmarks effects (another enamel product). It gives a nice light streaking effect which adds additional variation to the surface of the vehicle.
Thank you Warren. I’ll take a look at those, I tended not to use too many different ready made effects and relied on mixing my own oils, but I’ve moved more and more to the ready made stuff, so I’ll look to grab some of that.
@@MiniatureRealms You could achieve the same thing with a sandy/white oil mix, but it is handy having the ready made pots, especially when you painting an army load of vehicles.
@@MiniatureRealms By the way, inspired by this, I starting building a 1/72 Scale Cromwell from IBG Models! :)
Oh yes absolutely, very frustrating trying to find the same mix again.
Looking forward to seeing that, you’ll do an awesome job of it.
Nice tutorial 👍
I just bought an airbrush and was wondering what needle do you use for for the paintjob? (I 've got a 0.15 and 0.4 mm with a H&S Infinity)
In the video the model became a lot darker after the varnish, is this alway's the case?
Thank you. I’m using the 0.4mm, I rarely use the 0.15, I’m more likely to lower my psi for control before I change the needle.
Varnish sadly always acts as a bit of a filter, however much of it is down to the way the light reflects on the gloss, it looks a bit lighter again after the matt varnish.
Nice video, thank you very much. It"s gun mantlet cover.😇
Thank you Miloś 🙂
OOOHHH guess what I'll be doing tomorrow
Let me know how you get on.
@@MiniatureRealms I'll do some pictures
