- Like I said a week ago now that I finished these off for TXR0, I'm gonna do the same thing for TXR3. So here we go, the secrets in order.
1: If you go to either Free Run, Time Attack, or VS Battle which is basically 2-player mode. When you choose the city you want to race in, you can also change the weather between clear skies and rain. Choose rain and you can hold either L1, L2, or R2 between when you're choosing your starting point up until the game loads you onto the highway for an added effect to the weather. L1 is for snow, L2 is for fog, and R2 is for thunderstorms which just adds thunder & lightning to those Sunday showers. Just remember this only works with rain selected as the weather, nothing happens with clear skies.
2: There's a little glitch that allows you to buy & equip the colored Dry Carbon aero parts onto a car but with the reduced weight you get from the natural version of it. First of all you have to buy the Dry Carbon version of whatever aero part you're buying which is the lightest of the 3 options and gives you the option of buying it either "natural" which is the normal carbon fiber look or "colored" which paints over the carbon fiber to make it the same color as your car but adds a little weight. Select the colored option then hit no when asked if you want to buy it. The screen will refresh with the Dry Carbon part highlighted again. Now select the natural version and purchase it and you'll have the painted "colored" part on your car but with the reduced weight you get from the "natural" part. Do this with all aero parts to the entire car and you can save about 5-10 KG depending on the car with the car still looking good not to mention you're also now a little faster then you were before.
3: You may already know about this one but I may as well explain it anyway. If you have an NA car meaning "Naturally Aspired" then you can hold down "select" on your controller during the loading screen after you choose your starting point and when the game loads you can use a secret boost which can be a massive help if you use it sparingly. Boosting the acceleration by double compared to the turbo boost you get from turbo cars. Reason I say "sparingly" is you only get 3 boosts per session and given that the boost cooks your engine twice as fast compared to the turbo boost, 3 is more than enough. A lot of muscle cars are classified as NA like the Mustang, Viper, Corvettes, Firebird, etc. The Ford GT used at the end of the video is also NA so finding one in the car lot shouldn't be too hard. Hit select on your controller to activate the secret boost when you're ready and flames will shoot out from under the car and you'll be flying. Each boost lasts 10 seconds before shutting off then you can just hit select to activate it again. Like I said you only get 3 per session and the boost cooks your engine in seconds so if you're not careful the water & oil temps will shoot up into the red zone where you'll start losing power like I demonstrated at the end of the video. The water temp hits the red zone at 100° Celsius and the oil temp at 110° Celsius. The max the water temp can reach is 120° Celsius but the oil temp can go all the way up to 150° Celsius although you probably wanna stay the fuck away from those numbers. - เกม

Although this game is old, it still holds a special place in the hearts of many! Liked, for playing this nostalgic, awesome game!

Not much anymore, this game’s coming up on 15 yrs old soon. Nonetheless still one of my most favorite games ever when I was 12 or 13.

Thx for the tips, currently playing txr3 on my xbox series x after finishing txr zero, i prefer the driving physics of txr 0 tbh txr 3 still feels weird after completing all 3 cities

I've beat the game twice now (ps2 on the same saved game)... is there any way to fully unblock all exits on the maps? For example the Higashiyama2 exit in Nagoya at the bottom right of the map. It clearly looks like it leads somewhere (possibly to Tokyo) though there are barriers. There are a few other places without physical barriers in the other cities that have exits blocked/incomplete circuits (with floating arrows) or unavailable map locations (only can start in one direction) that are blank as well. Is there some sort of time trial goal that must be reached? I have no idea what to do or if it is even possible and it is starting to make me crazy lol. ... if anyone knows, please feel free to chime in. Thanks!

I don’t wanna believe it either but it is what it is.
Those blocked off area probably leads to the city itself or simply not fit for the game. You can check where it leads on google maps though, since the maps on this game are real highway on Japan.
There is a way to unlock the tachometer on the dash. I was adjusting the paint on a car one time & when i started driving it i noticed the tach lit up. If you figure it out hmu i did it on pure luck. I believe the car i did it on was a Toyota also. The paint was between blue & green. GL
You know what a tachometer even is right? Just another term for the RPM gauge which is kind of always there. Only thing that lights up around the dash is the “assist” just under the tach from having shift assist on.

Well it’s not working. And thing is, coincidentally I’ve owned a Toyota for the entirety of the game with my paint settings already pretty close to what you’ve mentioned underneath the carbon fiber so I didn’t have to look for long to know.
@@MrSmashboy28 it was a custom blue i put it to i was messing with the numbers didn't have carbon fiber on it either i don't believe & it showed in 3rd person not 1st.
I always race in 1st person & for the sake of finding out for sure, took all the carbon fiber off.

What do you mean how? I demonstrated in complete detail how that all works.

Im playing this game right now for the 100th time lol trying to beat it with 0 losses, im up to 112-0 rn.
That's almost impossible to be honest. I got lucky getting through with only 20 losses. Losing's pretty much inevitable at some point.

on quest mode im using an s15 with a engine swap for an L4 turbo,i had to farm mileage in tokyo for this,i needed the engine swap,since i simply couldn't catch up to bosses in straight,i had to either pass it while flashing the lights,and block their way,and hoping that it crashed on some van or wall,or either it would be a loss,after the engine swap even the jintei was rather easy to keep up and pass
so uh, is there a list of NA cars to make my life easy or can you reccommend a "best option?" I gots poo brain.
I mean the game tells you if a certain car’s NA or turbo. I don’t know exactly what your trying to ask here.
