Hello all, new comers & existing supporters. I greatly appreciate your time!
My brother recently sent me some Trinidad Scorpion peppers, seeds, & homemade chocolate, so I thought I'd try to grow one of the pepper plants from seed. Watch to find out how successful I was.

That is an insane hot pepper. When we grew them some seeds took alot longer to sprout than others. Some about 5-10 days and some about 10-20. Even 1 plant with one pepper is enough. LOL We are big wimps on pepper heat over here. Thanks for the share!
Yes, I did get another that popped up out of the 5, so that's all good to me, but I think I'm only going to grow these peppers to pickle since it dumbs down the heat. Can't really just eat it like I would any other pepper. Thanks for checking out the video 😊😊

So far the scorpions are my favorite kinds of superhots. They have all the heat without some of the bitterness and strong floral flavors that most other varieties have. Hopefully they grow well for you.
I think I am going to grow them to pickle... Somehow I think pickling turns the heat down a bit?.. or at least, that's what happened to my piquins... Thanks so much for watching & all your continued support 😊😊❤️
@@CandysGarden I agree that pickling somewhat reduces pepper heat. At least that’s been my experience too. I love pickles peppers and fermented sauces… hopefully your future creations come out delicious too!

We love the Trinidad Scorpion peppers too, Dulce, but they don't grow as well for us here in our zone 7a Virginia. I think they much rather prefer the heat and sun in your type zone and lower.

I tried the Carolina Reaper and it killed me. I'm trying to get my heat tolerance up.
I recently found my FAVORITE type of pepper. It's supposedly a "Japanese" pepper. The heat is there, a good heat, but it doesn't last long which I LOVE!

Bought some seeds from Farmer Q last year…planted some over a week ago and I think about 4 popped up gotta go check. I love spicy peppers so Im pretty excited. How are your peppers coming along now?
The ones that did pop up never survived the winter here in Texas, even though they were placed in the shed, but I have started more seeds recently & will share them when they get bigger. Thanks for watching 😊😊

I saw a mukbang video eating chocolate made with pepper. Her nose was bleeding with too much spiciness..I'm not a big fan of spicy foods. I also tried to grow seeds to leaves of pepper but unfortunately they just grew about 6-8 inches and then they also died..how are they now did they grow?
Oh wow, that doesn't sound good... I only got 2 to grow out of the 5, but they are still alive, which I wanna update everyone on soon enough. They are still so very small, possibly cause the fluctuation of cold/hot weather?.. I will be pickling these peppers that come from these plants that grow, I find them less hot that way... IDK if its just the batch of seeds I got, from a very good vendor btw, but out of all my varieties the scorpions seem to have the hardest/longest germination.
Yea, someone also mentioned that some took a lot longer than others. Right now, so far, only 2 out of the 5 which isn't bad in my opinion, I was really happy with just the one, but hey, just keep dropping those seeds, thanks for watching 😊😊
