welp, to answer the number one question: NO, the keys are NOT weighted. keybed action is only synth/spring action. No matter how others try to describe it, there are no real weights or hammers in this. for more context on weighted vs unweighted keys: th-cam.com/video/NEVBEp-m5w4/w-d-xo.html are the keys touch sensitive? YES. but on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being the most sensitive and 5 the least) i'd say it's a 5.5 😆. it's very difficult to play softly on a springy keyboard, even impossible in fast passages. i hope this helps u guys decide. 👍

Hey there! Thank you so much for the review, I bought the piano and to be honest the details you've said is accurate, the black keys are damn mushy and the touch response is awful like it's broken or smth, the sound however depends on the speaker or pc connection but with mine it sounds awful in pc because of the touch response, I couldn't play moonlight sonata 3rd movt without breaking my fingers at the black keys lmao. Over all thank you so much for the review keep it up dude!

Hey, hope you see this. Seriously thinking about buying this, wanted to ask, considering that the sound from the speakers is essentially trash, would connecting it to a speaker vastly improve the quality?|
sorry i had forgotten it already as i no longer have this particular keyboard. but you can check the comments here i think i left some instructions about it somewhere.
If it is a touch sensitive Why I couldn’t hear or feel the sensitivity of the music you played on video ‘ I hope you can make a video demo about touch sensitivity of the unit you use I would like to Know how good is the touch response Of that model unit on your next video I want to buy that but I’m concerned how the touch sensitivity/response 🎹 of the instrument. Thanks for sharing 🙏
hello. i mentioned in one of the comments that its touch sensitivity is not very good. while it is lightly sensitive it's useless in fast passages kinda like the song in the vid. the keys are unweighted springs so naturally the dynamic response will be poor compared to the weighted ones. don't believe the other reviews that say otherwise. 👍 if you're a serious pianist and are concerned about dynamics i think you're better off with something in the 10-20k PhP range, like the alesis recital pro. and sorry i cannot do any more videos about the unit because i already sold mine 😅 tl;dr this keyboard is crap lmao but hey it's cheap 👍
Hi Ma'am/Sir, my one black key (G#) in my keyboard is not working, I mean it's working when I played it once but when I played it twice or thrice its not working. I don't if it's delayed is anything. What should I do if my keyboard is like that? Answering my question will be well appreciated. Thank You
hello. at that price range i couldn't think of anything else that id recommend. but if you're willing to shell out a bit more cash you can check out this one: c.lazada.com.ph/t/c.0C020q c.lazada.com.ph/t/c.0C0lzA while it's 2x expensive it's still considered as budget-type low-tier piano keyboard. but ALOT better than the one in this video.
I heard it sounds terrible on it's own speakers but does it sound better or great when connected to an amplifier or external speakers? Does it also sound great when connected to headphones or just the same as its built in speaker?
im not sure i never bothered hooking it up to an amplifier. i only tried it with headphones and sound was the same. i don't see how it would get better through speakers. it wasn't that terrible, but not good either.
hi. this may be off topic, but I'm hoping you might be able to help. I bought a folding piano (88-key) from shopee with the intent of using it as a controller. But I couldn't make it control GarageBand or KorgModule on my iPhone. I can connect it thru bluetooth midi but the latency is just awful to make it practically useless in a gig so I was hoping to connect it direct via cable. Maybe you have bought one too? Thx
no sorry, im not familiar with that keyboard. maybe the apps couldn't recognize that kind of key setup or midi hardware is not compatible with iOS. are you positive it's a midi enabled device? because bluetooth is different from midi. but if it has usb port then it should be able to handle midi signals as well.
Just asking, is the keyboard "brand" called rixton/minsine or something? I was just thinking about buying those, i only want a piano keyboard for music composition and production so midi is important to me, they said thay it only connects midi through bluetooth which i think is bad due to latency and all, but is there really a way to connect it wired? like the piano has a usb port for charging and has an "audio interface" port which idk how would that work or what that is, it already has an output port (which is the headphone port), i wonder if you could connect it to a phone using an otg converter or a different wire or smth to see if it works as a MIDI.
if you're just starting out with piano i think this one will suffice. i don't recommend investing a good amount of money in something you're not 100% into. besides i think the alesis is not that good of a digital piano from the reviews I've seen. and it's moderately expensive for a semi-weighted keyboard. the casios in that price range are better in my opinion.
@@adelberdimaunahan Thanks for the answer. I'm thinking about learning piano seriously. Still thinking about it though haha
@@morplul262 that's another good option. 👍 I've seen refurbished units of phased out models from yamaha/kawai in japan surplus shops that are actually on par with the latest flagship models. i think the only downside would be the lack of warranty. pero it's still a very tempting deal 😁
Hi please help me, I'm an intermediate pianist and is able to play pieces Mozart, Chopin etc.. Gusto ko na kasi magpalit ng keyboard ko na 61 key and I'm choosing between this and yung GL-655 - (Check mo po sa other YT vids para madiscern mo yung sound). Ano po marerecommend niyo between the two? huhu wala pa po kasi ako budget sa branded na piano and kung bibili ako syempre yung quality paren kahit papano.. Thank you po for the response!
yow. hindi ko natry ang GL-655 pero im quite familiar with it since it's been all over my feed. hands down mas better po sya in every aspect kesa dito, except lang that it only has 73keys at mas expensive sya kesa dito. ang edge lang talaga neto boss is 88keys sya at mura. that's it. functionality-wise panalo ang GL655 sa dami ng features plus the dedicated ports/slots. pero if you're into classical music naman i don't think all of those would matter, right? what u should be really looking into is the keyboard action. and u should still aim for standard 88 keys if u see yourself playing classical pieces more. im obviously not qualified to decide for you dahil for one, you're already intermediate level, and hindi ko alam which one has the better dynamics and keyboard feel na appropriate sa playing style mo. but yeah i guess the GL-655 would be the safer bet. 👍

i used a microUSB adapter with the included usb charging cable so that both ends are microUSB male. if you have typeC port then use a typeC adapter and connect that end to your smartphone and plug the micro USB end to the piano.
compared to this keyboard, yes p45 is hundred times better. it has fully weighted and graded keys like in a real acoustic piano. it's also the most popular entry-level digital piano so you can't go wrong with that.
hello. the sound you hear in this video was coming directly from an app, not the actual sound of the keyboard. you can see that it's connected to a smartphone. it's an artificial acoustic grand sound of the Perfect Piano App (MIDI) which is probably why u thought it's clearer than the real keyboard sound. all i needed to do was playback the recorded file and convert it to mp3. i then synced the audio and video using kinemaster.

I don't remember any battery slot na easily accessible dun.

Hopefully masagot ty sir 😅
hello 👋 1. yes po standard headphone jack na 3.5mm (or 1/8 inch) lang yung audio out nya. pati rin po yung sa pedal nya, which is weird kasi usually 1/4inch yung sa pedal kagaya sa mic. 2. basag. periodt.
61-keys is fine, especially if it's better quality than this. but id still recommend ANY standard 88 keyboard tho, as getting accustomed to the full range of keys early on will prove advantageous. whichever u decide on, just steer clear of those foldable/roll-up piano garbage ok? 🤮
Tsaka how long maglalast yung battery.
well, you could. but it's gonna feel reeal weird because of the spring mechanism, 😅 especially if you're used to acoustic piano. also it would have zero dynamics since its velocity-sensitivity basically doesn't work in fast passages. speed always registers as *loud* in this type of keyboard, so it's kinda difficult to play fast *softly*. i hope i explained it well enough 😅

hello. i used Perfect Piano (android) app to record the audio part of the performance (midi+device). then i hooked the smartphone to my laptop to playback the recorded midi and save it as mp3 using Audacity (windows). both app and software are free to use 👍
what would you classify as intermediate? i'm thinking of getting this piano though i don't really care for the length, i'd be happy if it were just 61 as i dont really play classical music. this piano also looks very sleek compared to those global keyboards - perfect for live performances though i don't really see myself performing due to the current situation we're in. i'm in a weird spot though, somewhere between beginner and intermediate. i know my theory and i'm able to compose but i'm pretty tight on my budget since i cant legally have a job yet. im not sure if i should just stick with this due to my current skil level or to just keep saving
i think you should go with the global brand. the GL-6xx something, sorry i forgot the model number😅. it's a wee bit more expensive than this one but it's geared toward pop/contemporary style of playing. it's not 88keys but it has more modern sounds and proper ports/connectivity options. but i agree with u this one looks very sleek with its minimalist black design, compared to the bulkiness and exposed buttons of the GL hehe.
regarding what would classify as intermediate i honestly don't know. i haven't had formal lessons but i think there's a test to determine that? there are also other systems of categorizing piano skills like the Alfred grades/levels. tho ive always assessed myself as only a beginner/elementary since i still haven't gone through all the scales (major, minor/harmonic/melodic) and memorized all chord forms/inversions yet. i also cannot sight read so im having a hard time doing hanon and czerny exercises, and have still zero knowledge of jazz. if you're able to write/compose songs and make improvisations i think you're already advanced level. at the moment ive actually made no progress and have stopped with the lessons altogether because i cant find time anymore (i probably forgot all o them again now im stuck at beginner level😅).
@@adelberdimaunahan hey, thanks for the insight. i currently own the gl 330 though its been such a hassle to get the midi to function. the notes constantly hang and there are notes that play randomly, so im thinking of selling it so j could have more of a budget to get a better keyboard.
@@osru_ I personally haven't tried any GL keyboard, but compared to this one that only has 1/8" audio-out and miscrousb midi, some GL models have SD slot, L/R aux out, 1/4" sustain pedal/amp, and traditional midi ports that can be connected to compatible sound module or consoles. not sure about Bluetooth tho.
I have a question, can this Piano handle intense playing? cause one time, i was played La Campanella by Franz Liszt on my Grand Mothers Piano and when i pressed a key to hard, i ended up causing the keys to stick, her piano was a cheap Piano, i wonder if this Piano can handle Hard Intermediate Pieces like for example, Etude no 25 op 11 (Winter Wind) which i am practicing right now, and does it sound good with Classical Pieces?
lmao you're asking whether a toy-grade piano can handle intense playing 🤔 well unlike old acoustic pianos, which have actual hammers that might get stuck, this only has plastic parts and springs. so i guess you *could* try playing La Campanella on this as hard as u want, but you'll need some serious adjustments to your play style since you're used to the weighted keys.

yes you can connect it to speakers via chord. just note that the audio port is for 3.5mm (1/8inch) standard headphone jack.
Hi Ma'am/Sir, my one black key (G#) in my keyboard is not working, I mean it's working when I played it once but when I played it twice or thrice its not working. I don't if it's delayed is anything. What should I do if my keyboard is like that? Answering my question will be well appreciated. Thank You
i think you have a defective unit. you should've have returned it and asked for a replacement.
What keyboard would you recommend that is also a budget type like this? cause I read your pinned comment and I changed my mind on buying this one.
hello. at that price range i couldn't think of anything else that id recommend. but if you're willing to shell out a bit more cash you can check out this one:

while it's 2x expensive it's still considered as budget-type low-tier piano keyboard. but ALOT better than the one in this video.

Touch response????
responsive but not very good
I heard it sounds terrible on it's own speakers but does it sound better or great when connected to an amplifier or external speakers?
I really want to learn how to play piano. Should I just save for a alecis recital than buy this? 😅
if you're just starting out with piano i think this one will suffice. i don't recommend investing a good amount of money in something you're not 100% into. besides i think the alesis is not that good of a digital piano from the reviews I've seen. and it's moderately expensive for a semi-weighted keyboard. the casios in that price range are better in my opinion.

Hey idk if your gonna see this but is the Yamaha p45 a good keyboard? Cost around 559$
compared to this keyboard, yes p45 is hundred times better. it has fully weighted and graded keys like in a real acoustic piano. it's also the most popular entry-level digital piano so you can't go wrong with that.
hello i just want to ask, how do you connect the piano and make the sound more clearer? Do you use pc? what software do you use then?
hello. the sound you hear in this video was coming directly from an app, not the actual sound of the keyboard. you can see that it's connected to a smartphone. it's an artificial acoustic grand sound of the Perfect Piano App (MIDI) which is probably why u thought it's clearer than the real keyboard sound. all i needed to do was playback the recorded file and convert it to mp3. i then synced the audio and video using kinemaster.
Hi, may mairereccomend ba kayong piano na price range ay 8k-10k php, na similar or less (not tunog lata) sa tunog ng Yamaha NP series or Alesis recital. Kahit unweighted keys basta may sustain button or pedal

2. basag. periodt. 😅

@@adelberdimaunahan do you think I could play moonlight sonata 3rd movement in this?
well, you could. but it's gonna feel reeal weird because of the spring mechanism, 😅 especially if you're used to acoustic piano. also it would have zero dynamics since its velocity-sensitivity basically doesn't work in fast passages. speed always registers as *loud* in this type of keyboard, so it's kinda difficult to play fast *softly*. i hope i explained it well enough 😅

what would you classify as intermediate? i'm thinking of getting this piano though i don't really care for the length, i'd be happy if it were just 61 as i dont really play classical music. this piano also looks very sleek compared to those global keyboards - perfect for live performances though i don't really see myself performing due to the current situation we're in.
i'm in a weird spot though, somewhere between beginner and intermediate. i know my theory and i'm able to compose but i'm pretty tight on my budget since i cant legally have a job yet. im not sure if i should just stick with this due to my current skil level or to just keep saving
i think you should go with the global brand. the GL-6xx something, sorry i forgot the model number😅. it's a wee bit more expensive than this one but it's geared toward pop/contemporary style of playing. it's not 88keys but it has more modern sounds and proper ports/connectivity options. but i agree with u this one looks very sleek with its minimalist black design, compared to the bulkiness and exposed buttons of the GL hehe.
regarding what would classify as intermediate i honestly don't know. i haven't had formal lessons but i think there's a test to determine that? there are also other systems of categorizing piano skills like the Alfred grades/levels. tho ive always assessed myself as only a beginner/elementary since i still haven't gone through all the scales (major, minor/harmonic/melodic) and memorized all chord forms/inversions yet. i also cannot sight read so im having a hard time doing hanon and czerny exercises, and have still zero knowledge of jazz. if you're able to write/compose songs and make improvisations i think you're already advanced level.
at the moment ive actually made no progress and have stopped with the lessons altogether because i cant find time anymore (i probably forgot all o them again now im stuck at beginner level😅).
@@adelberdimaunahan hey, thanks for the insight. i currently own the gl 330 though its been such a hassle to get the midi to function. the notes constantly hang and there are notes that play randomly, so im thinking of selling it so j could have more of a budget to get a better keyboard.

@@adelberdimaunahan alright, thanks for the tips, i just wanted to buy a new Piano so that i don't have to always keep going to my Lola's house to practice, i wanna practice here at home, and plus real Piano's are expensive as hell, Steinway Piano's literally cost 260k USD, while Yamaha's cost 160k USD so yeah, ill be buying this Piano instead, since its cheaper
@@multigamingg9369 but those are grand pianos, ofc theyd be expensive. the piano in this video is only 100 USD and you're like comparing it to a 260,000 USD Steinway. 😅 you could try searching for digital pianos instead. fyi the one used in this video is not a digital piano. it's just an entry-level toy keyboard. coz dp's are usually fully weighted and have legit sampled sounds of an acoustic piano rather than electronic midi.
@@multigamingg9369 you can check out my other videos here I'd recommend these if you're looking for digital pianos. they cost around ~600 to 800 USD. and they're completely portable unlike an upright piano. 👍
