6.2L for 100 km is pretty high. I have the sedan version of the Corolla, in highway I get around 4.8-5L for 100 km. In urban driving I can get 3.8-4.2L for 100 km. On average, I'm getting around 4.8-5.2L for 100 km for mixed driving.

So here's my question: it's -20 degrees outside, car starts in full electric mode, then it suddenly jumps to 4000 rpm because it switches to the petrol engine. How good is that for the engine?
The system starts always in electric mode. But for ex. -20 degrees, the petrol engine jumps in approx 10 seconds after system start. So, you will never have a cold petrol engine. Maybe it will be a problem, if you have a Plugin-Hybrid, but not with a Full-Hybrid like Corolla or Suzuki Swace.

I feel very uncomfortable at 100 kmph in this car. It is very light and underpowered. I mean if you are doing 100 kmph in civic or accord you even dont feel like you are that fast but in this car it feels like you are trying to hit 360 kmph and engine is at its peak in just 100 kmph

I have megane 4 1.3 tce 2020. The quality of the car is shit. Everything rattles in the interior, the clutch pedal is squweeking, problems with paint. Stay away of renault, shit quality!
I have a corolla sedan from 2020 and I'm pretty happy with it. Interior is of okay quality, no rattles as mentioned with the renault. Suspension feels very soft and rides comfortably. Road noise is pretty high though.
