LOVE the sound of that exhaust! I just picked up the 2017 SDGT a couple weeks ago, fun to see where I can spend even more money on it:). Thanks for the video.
When you installed the ergo seats did you have to install a switch for the back seat to change from high to low? . . . (update, i pulled the trigger on the front and rear ergo heated seats on ebay and I made sure to get the rear seat that came with the switch. I concur with your assessment of the grip temp being affected by the seat temp. Also I live in a climate that can be hot or cold. I have an antigravity lithium battery and it goes into protection mode above 103 degrees F indicated on the dash, making the bike die and not restart until it cools back down. One last thing I got the quadlock with the vibration damper and just went on a 4000 mile long road trip and my camera focuses just fine)
So im in a dilemma. I was looking getting a 21 SAS, heard great things. However. I dont tour much(it will change later in the year) but occasionally ill have the mrs riding and we may have a fews days away. Im 27, and the only thing that bothers me with SAS, is the horse looks. Now, im thinking maybe the GT is still okay for touring 1 or 2 up, i know it won't be as comfortable as the SAS but seats etc can be changed out, plus its a lot better looking. Whats wind turbulence like on the motorway on the GT. Be interesting to hear anyones thoughts on this.
Mr Mrs didn't ride with me much but she found it fine when she did - although we never rode more than an hour together. As a solo distance bike I found it fantastic - I got the Puig touring screen which was great. Didn't notice buffeting and could happily sit at 100mph. Others do complain about buffeting though. I got about 180 miles to the fuel light so the range is OK too. I absolutely loved this bike when it worked, but it had constant electrical problems in the 12 months I had it, so I sold it early. The final straw was when the engine randomly cut out when I was riding with my Mrs. It started again 30s later, but that sort of thing was a common occurrence unfortunately. It was 2 years old when I got it with 6k miles on the clock.
Great video! Thanks. About the PowerParts seat: apart from the fact that having a warm bum seems great, do you think it's more comfortable than the original one? I've done a couple of long distance tours and the original seat gets very uncomfortable after a few hours of riding.
Exhaust sounds great! I’ve bought a 2021 super duke gt. and have been told that the 21 model is different and only akropovic make them. Just curious but I want fit a tail tidy but unsure of the indicators needing resisters or a new relay or both. Any help would be appreciated 👍🏻
No idea I'm afraid - the tail tidy was fitted when I bought it. There are a couple of good SDGT Facebook groups though - someone on there will probably know
Hmm. A little maybe but I quite like loud exhausts so it might be worse for others. If I bought this bike again, I think I'd just get the end can, not the full decat though.
Great video. I’ve been considering buying the SW Motech Pro City for my GT. Your video helped me see what it looks like on the GT. I have just mounted my sat nav on the centre clamp of the handlebars. Do you know if the tank bag would block its view of it?
You missed the only question I had: We know the ergo seat is heated, it says so in the specs. What I want to know is if it's comfortable, and heating apart, is it worth the money comfort wise?
@@philiplaurell1163 I would agree with 8-bit. It's slightly more comfortable than stock. Slightly... but It's a bit more squared, so softer in the butt, harder (for me) on my upper thigh. Worth the warmth though.

They came with the bike so can't tell you I'm afraid...
Great video, very informative! I did a video on fitting my Nav 6 BMW Garmin to my SD GT. absolutely love the bike it’s a joy to drive
Great video, do you have a link to the barkbuster hand guards? I can only find ones for 1290 super duke r, i'm suspecting they fit.
I'm afraid I bought the bike with the guards and I sold it a couple of years ago so I don't have a link...

I didn't ever have the stock seat so can't say. The heated seat definitely got uncomfortable after a couple of hours but it was OK I suppose
Buongiorno. Sai dirmi per caso se sulle barre paramotore originali si possono montare i faretti aggiuntivi. Grazie
I think you'd need the optional engine guards for that. Maybe the sw motech guards. I've seen other people add lights to them.
Buongiorno. Infatti ho parlato con il team di sw-motech, e mi hanno detto che si puo' fare.Grazie.
@@francescopaoletti8953 thanks for the update 👍

Any drone with the Remus?

I've just put in place and sat on the bike. I think it'll block at least part, possibly all of it...

Ah! I love the warmth (didn't think I'd be bothered) and it's OK comfort-wise, but it doesn't feel like much of a comfort upgrade.

What radiator guard do you have with the superduke logo etched into it?
Don't know - it came with the bike. Looked like an ebay special though...
Vale la pena cambiare l'originale solo per il terminale se poi il sound è uguale.
The remus silencer sounds fantastic on its own and even better with the decat.
🤟🐐🐐🤟
Lo scarico è completo o è solo il terminale.
Full system
Is this the same guy I follow for salt water fish lol
exhaust sounds awful but rest is alright.
