I appreciate the video! I just ordered this part for my Nissan as my radio controls, horn and airbag light flashes/quit working. Thankfully the cruise control hasn't failed yet.

@@gqautodiagnostics Thank you so much.... I'm about to do the job but you didn't mention when to take the factory lock off of the new one. can you answer that?

Be careful removing the airbag bolts. Mine were very tight, had a hell of a time

Hey 👋 I really enjoyed your descriptions, I was wondering when reinstalling if there was any use of the rental tool ? Also torque specs used ? Thanks

You talked about the clip on the new clock spring that keeps it centered. I really can’t afford a new one, so I was going to get one from a salvage yard. Will there be any issues installing a used one?

Hello! That is a good question. As long as the clock spring is good it should work. Make sure to put the steering wheel at the center position. Keep me posted. Have a great weekend and God bless you 🙏

? So when I accelerate hard my car pulls to the left when I let off the pedal it pulls. Tire pressure is good I just had it aligned seems like all my mounts are good. I am clueless as to what it might be. Can you help me with this one?

It is because steering wheel angle sensor was uncallibrated and ESP started work incorrectly

Hey Mr. GQ at what point do you take the clip off on the new one? That clip that keeps it from moving.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. The clip is removed right before installing the steering wheel. Let me know if you have any other questions and keep me posted

6:02 Is it 100% necessary to use the tool for the harmonic pulley? Is there any other tool that will work?

Hello. Using the tool makes the job a lot easier. You can rent the tool and get your money back.
