How would you compare this wing to art pro 1121 ? Have you tried the 860 or 960 ? If so could you give us a pros and cons between art pros and codes R ??
@@yundazy3843 thanks for the question 🤙🤙 The 1075r feels far more like the 1201 than the 1121. I’d compare the 1121 to somewhere in between the 960-860. So to answer, the 1075 rides far larger than the 1121. I’ve tried the 960r too. Very similar foils in a lot of ways. The biggest difference I feel when riding is the code feels like it has suspension, it feels soft under foot. Axis feels like more of a solid platform under foot. I enjoy both, what’s the biggest pros and cons?… Code pros: easy to use (wish they had bigger sizes) general foiling feel, handling turbulence, sexy Code cons: price, range of sizes, rough finishing, slow warranty, masts Axis pros- range of sizes, price, good for learners to pros, modular ease, masts Axis cons- finishing, not sexy, too many options, handling turbulence
@@downwind_drifter Thanks for taking the time for a quality answer ! Have you by Any chance tried the unifoil progression ? I'm riding the 200 (1300cm²) and the 140 (900cm²) but they feel too slow for supfoil downwind Therefore i'm looking to buy a new foil I live in Tahiti, I can get my hands for about same price on either -afs pure ha 1100 -code 960R or 860R -axis 1121 with power carb hm mast Decent rider here, 75kg for 1m78 and i'll keep the unifoil for prone and wing so i'm gonna use the new stuff only for sup What would you do if you were me ?;) I hope this question does not put you in a bad spot though Great content btw
@@yundazy3843 I believe axis has the best production mast in the world… my axis 72cm is 11.5mm thick by the foil and short chord and very stiff as in I barely ever notice wobble even with the biggest foils and boards connected together. The code mast is 15mm thick at the thinnest point and to me I couldnt bare that drag difference… My friend uses the 170 progression foil for dw and likes it but finds it a touch slow, we had discussed him getting a 140 thinking it might be pretty good! I’d say stick with what you have to start and build a bit of experience before making decisions. My guess is the 140 you have could be very good.
@@PanaProductions I’ve found the horizons excellent. Strong construction is a standout, besides chipping along the hard edge of the rail… likely solved with rail tape. Design works well for me. It is a rounded hull so that should be taken into consideration. It requires an active stability of sorts as it doesn’t have a flat section to rest on. Good forward speed generation though and bounce because of it. I like the 8’4 as my all rounder. Most recent boards of similar dimensions seem really good 🤙🤙
@@downwind_drifter thanks, will give it a watch! Currently looking at the horizon, bullet from Amos or kt crossing but swinging towards Amos. Maybe you’re video will swing me another direction
@@PanaProductions I’ve not tried an Amos, but would love to! I currently own 2 kts and demoed a 3rd surf version, I have 2 north horizons and a few other brands 🤙🤙 Ive been in an experimentation phase 😅
@@yannickgiau3928 yip I have an adapter that slips over the end of the axis mast, I’m not sure who supplies them sorry as I was given this one by a friend. 🤙🤙

Hi mate. How do you use code with the axis mast? Do you need an adapter?
