Hi James, another Video Code Foils could make is Driving Technique for Tow in Foiling. Topics you could Cover: Set Up, Starting, Hunting the Right Wave, Pick Up's, Rescues. I don't think anything like that is out there.
Hi james- for someone beginning on their downwind journey with this wing what would be your recommendations for tail/fuse to make it as easy as possible? I am guessing it would be long fuse and 188? i am finally managing to paddle in a straight line and not falling in quite so much on my 8'6 axis but that is about the limit of my success so far...I can dockstart and pump confidently for 2 minutes on other setups but am struggling with paddleups
Foiling is cool. Just got a fliteboard. But I was thinking.... surely someone will invent a foil board with a spring loaded front wing to stabilise foil glide (kinda like the aquaskipper but a board with front and rear masts). This would make surfing and pumping easier because it would prevent nose diving and regulate the amplitude of the pump motion.
making those flat water starts look easy @jamescasey7393 .....If anyone has the opportunity to demo CODE foils do it! I had the chance on Oahu and they blew me away in very small conditions on the 980 short fuse and 150 tail. For reference I'm currently on the Lift 170 HA and KD 13.5 classic tail. The CODE foil felt bigger than my 170HA, pumped better and rolled between turns much smoother without having that "slipping" feeling i sometimes get with my Lift.
Awesome video format! We need more like this
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll definitely be doing more of this
Would you recommend the 1130 or 1300 as for my next downwind foil coming from axis 1150?@@codefoils

That glide into a quick right-left-right turn combo at 04:25 looked so awesome James! Almost like on a surfskate!
Finally!!! Thanks Cassey!!!
I could listen to @joshku laugh at James dockstarting all day. :)
Gotta be the highlight of the entire vid for sure 🤣

Great vlog and great music of Shirley Caesar. 🤙🤙🤙
What Carver size are you using to wing and what is your weight? Thanks much!!
6’2 carver would’ve been the choice if it was on the car but was on 7’6 DW aviator
Do you pick the Sunova Carver for the prone surf part of the video ?
Anyone have thoughts/preferences for fuse length with 1300s for surfing and pumping? Thank you!
🔥🔥🔥 Whether sinner or saint, on bays or🇨🇭 lakes, the 1300S will take you to church!
How does the 1300s compare to the 1075r?
how big is that downwind board? looks smooth with that wing!
Board is 7’6 x 17 at 105L 🤙🏽
wow! thats really narrow... amazing @@jamescasey7393
