I’m glad you got lucky enough to try Peruvian food. You should go back and try even more other options. People from Peru are very proud of Peruvian food, if you want to grow in your channel I highly recommend you to keep reacting or dive deep into Peruvian cuisine.
If I recall correctly, it's called JFK because it was inaugurated almost at the same time as his assassination, so, it was named after him in his honor. Also, chinese restaurants in Peru are called Chifa, and almost all of Chinese influence in Peru is Cantonese.

JFK visited Peru in 60s but I think when he was not president yet, I'm not totally sure. But he visited specially the periphery of Lima where Low economical sources/poor people, specially countryside migrants live in slums. There are photos about his official visit. The Park was named after he died and during the Peruvian Government was so very lined to Usa in that moment.
