That was fantastic too watch. I remember watching The High Chapparal years ago. Always loved it. Especially Blue Manalito and even Buck. Victoria really is a gorgeous looking woman.
I love this series' stance in showing multiculturalism and respect for Mexicans, Apaches, and the white invaders following the Civil War. It was a true multicultural effort, though flawed in many aspects. My guilty pleasure is in rewatching this series when I can't sleep...somehow, resolution and peaceful outreach lets me sleep at night...
Does anyone know the significance of the blue wavy line painted on the main house? Is there an episode where it is applied or explained? It's driving me crazy and for me that's a short trip.
As far as I know, that blue line isn't explained in the show. At least, it's not in the first three seasons. I've only watched two episodes from the 4th season. The show isn't the same after Blue leaves.
I saw the episode where John has the wind chimes removed ,that Annalee had hung, to please Victoria so i thought there might have been a similar situation where the blue wavy line was applied.Don't know why it bugs me so much.Hehe...
This was very well done. _The High Chaparral_ was always my favorite TV Western. God I loved this show and this video
