Zara ALWAYS gives Uncle Charles a BIG hug when they meet, she is the daughter of his much loved sister after, of course they’d hug one another.
He has such a connection to her. The daughter he never had, just like Princess Catherine. The Andrew sisters do not seem to have the same connection.
Zara and Peter were sporty like Charles’ boys. I imagine there were many play dates among the families in the earlier years. Wills speaks of being unable to hold back tears of pride watching Zara win an equestrian competition.
It was King Charles who suggested naming, his sister Anne’s new baby Zara.
