Great job! I find it helps to watch videos from multiple people to pick up slightly new information. It's not hard to train a face flopper but you just have to take the time to do it well. I know, right?! I think that Rena of Paris heat tool is a game changer with the non-heat friendly Wigs. I will keep trying on all the different brands… Like the bad girl that I am.😂
OMG thank you so much! I know this was from a few months ago but it’s so helpful!. I’ve had a couple of face floppers that I just couldn’t fix. This is terrific.
Thanks so much for this video, Frannie. This helps so much. Hopefully, I won't have to use any heat on any of my wigs. It's really amazing how you changed the way those face flops looked. Thanks for the tips also!
Great informational. Thank you! Suggestion: When you curl, try combing and curling sideways instead of using the comb and curling tool down. Down is holding it horizontal, which is good for pageboy and flipping under. Sideways is holding your comb and tool vertical, which is good for curling away from the face or towards the face depending on which way you use the tool. You are fantastic, Frannie. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the advice! I will definitely try holding the tool differently. I will see all the different kinds of curls I can get. I love to learn… And I have a lot to learn when it comes to styling!🤣 thank you so much for watching!😘
Funny you should do the curling section. I use a curling iron, not anything with bristles as the hair can get tangled in the brush. But it's a fabulous way of turning a bob into a beach wavey bob. It works for shorter bobs too or even lightly layered bobs . Just use a smaller width flat iron! I also learned to reverse direction every other beach wave you make so it looks natural and not clumped together! And, as you demonstrated if you pull the flat iron thru your hair slowly, you'll get more of a curl than a beach wave if that's what you're looking for! I'm so obsessed I've got 3 flat irons in different widths. My fave is 1.5" flat iron that as rounded...yup rounded...edges with temp settings that I'm crazy about too! ❤

I think you can train whichever fibers you want to go the direction you want them. So you don't necessarily have to make a swoop. As I do more of these, I will show other alternatives. The key is to just keep trying until you get the result you want.💕
My latest and best wig head is by Jon Renau and I got the Deluxe Clamp: frannieshair.com/collections/accessories/products/canvas-block-head frannieshair.com/products/deluxe-wig-clamp I realize that these are more pricey than others. Thank you for demonstrating these tools. I recently got the ROP hot tool (at a really good discount,) so beneficial to see it used to curl. I'm interested in the tressallure, but not at its standard retail price, particularly after reading somse reviews that it's easy to accidentally change the temperature while using it. Something about button placement? At this point, I've got all the sizes of the hot tools air brushes, so between them, the ROP hot tool, water, steam, and hair dryer, and a few styling products, I'm set for a while.👍 Anyway, after reading the ingredients of ROP Revive spray, it looks like I've gotta get my hands on some amodimethicone, because after reading about it, it seems that it is less likely to build up, and is a bit kinder to fibers, whether human or synthetic. So, on the search for the ingredient on its own, to add to a cone-free spray, or a premade spray that has amodimethicone as its sole cone, so I can test to see if I have a sensitivity to it.🤞 Thanks again, Frannie!🌻
I do think it's easy to change the temperature by accident on the Cool Flow Dual Styler. I think I've gotten used to keeping my finger away from the button. I hope you can find that ingredient to try it. Thank you so much for watching!💕

So if you are dealing with a non heat friendly fiber, maybe use lower heat setting on dryer? Also... could you just mist it then put it in place (maybe clip) and let dry overnight?
Just misting won't change the style. Wigs need heat to reshape the fibers. If you have a non-heat friendly wig, you may want to try the new Envy 3-in-1 Airstyler. It has heat settings that are low enough to work on regular synthetic wigs. You can look at it here: frannieshair.com/collections/accessories/products/3-in-1-airstyler

The Aderans brands are Rene of Paris, Noriko, Amore, and Alexander Couture. Yes, you can use it on all HF wigs, because it only goes to 240 degrees. It may take longer to make changes on HF wigs with the lower heat, but it won't hurt them.💕
@@FranniesHaircan it be used on ALL NON heat wigs? Let me rephrase my question! 😂 Would you use it on any non heat wig? Which I totally totally understand this procedure is to be done at my own risk and cannot hold anyone or anything responsible for messing a wig up! That is all on me! However I’m not scared to try it! I’d feel more comfortable if anyone uses this method on all non heat wigs!
Was the wig heat friendly? I'll be showing a new tool that you can use on regular synthetics shortly, Here it is: frannieshair.com/collections/accessories/products/3-in-1-airstyler
Oh good a more recent video. Honey, as a stylist, and I'm sure you have a reason you do your videos this way, but when you have a client that is trying on wigs...set up a chair, and have them sit in it for your videos. That translates better for the audience, rather than trying to manipulate while someone is on a couch. I know I would enjoy your videos better, and it's more professional. ✂✂✂✂
Excellent advice! I have since remodeled my studio. I'm not a hairstylist, so I don't have those types of chairs, but at least I have chairs now. I appreciate the feedback, and thank you for watching!💕

Wow! Such great info for this newbie! About your facebook group, I've applied twice with no response. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Is this the place you tried to join? facebook.com/groups/frannieshair
Did you answer the membership questions and agree to the group rules? If you do, and it's still not working, let me know. I will figure it out. I look forward to seeing you in the group!💕
@@FranniesHair Thanks for your reply! I just clicked on the link you provided. It says that my application is pending approval, so I must have originally requested to join, in the right place. Should I answer the questions and agree to the rules again?
@@nancyruckman5875 Great, let me know if you don't get in...I look forward to seeing you there!💕
@@FranniesHair Still nothing.
@@nancyruckman5875 What name are you under on Facebook?
What are Aderon brands? Can the hot tool be used on all heat freindly wigs?
Is the wig - washable - or dry clean only ?
All the wigs I show, you can wash in your sink. Thank you so much for watching!💕
What about using hot curlers?
Great question! I have never tried that. But I am going to do that. Stay tuned. Thank you for the idea!💕
I finally tried to wig and found one I really like, and then I ruined her bangs when I tried to lift them off the face, I used a heat brush 🥴
Was the wig heat friendly? I'll be showing a new tool that you can use on regular synthetics shortly, Here it is: frannieshair.com/collections/accessories/products/3-in-1-airstyler
@ thank you!
Remind us on what wigs is Aterans not sure how to spell it. I figured Rene of Paris but no sure of the others. I think Noriko but not sure.
Aderans is the manufacturer of Rene of Paris, Amore, Alexander Couture and Noriko wigs
Thank you, Dawn!😘
@@sassybanjo3586 thank you also!
Ball point pins are thinner. Won’t make holes…
Thank you...great tip!💕
I'm sorry but i don't know what a "non adherent brand" is. I've never heard of that term. I've only being wearing wigs for a year and learning a lot about them including how to style them in all different ways, heat friendly or not. But this reference is baffling me!
Aderans is a company comprised of the brands Noriko, Rene of Paris, Amore, and Alexander Courure. Non-Aderans would be any other brand. Thank you so much for watching! If you have any questions, please let me know.💕
