Unbelievable to see all the cars, is an unbelievable memory from 80s as a 20 year old …you and Chris “think that’s his name” drunk sorry . Is amazing, as a English man growing up , your doing a great job with keeping the iconic cars on the road ⚒️⚒️
Awesome stuff man. Lot of monte Carlos on the street you picked tweety bird up on. Keep it up, you’re helping me learn stuff to apply to my stable of projects.
Definitely like the video one of my favorite cars. I love the front end on that 72 Firebird it’s a shame. The motor is all gunked up that needs a total rebuild. Hopefully see another video soon. I’m glad Chris Brown from NNKH introduced a lot of us to you. Have a great day.
Cool video..i had a 73 formula with a 350/4 spd..sold it in 98 wish I still had it..i built a high performance Pontiac Catalina 350 for it..man the memories of that car...👍👍 thanks from South Jersey
Ahhh the good old days. There was all ways one car at the dead end of the street with a screaming yellow Csonka. The last one I saw was a 78 Chevette. Your guy said this was the real deal once for him in 97. Good luck looks like you won’t have to chase for parts.
301's was in the last of the second gen birds...turds. I'd rather seen a 455 buick or olds than a 350 chevy in that poor thing. Hope that yellow and blacked out trim disappears too. Fantastic cars, the 70-73 Firebirds. It'll be good to see it back on the road in any condition. My first car was a 70, 250 w/3 speed. Had a 71 455 Formula, 72 Formula 400 w/4 speed, 2- 71 Formula 400's and a 74 455 Ram Air. Can't wait to see how she ends up.
My first car was a 1968 Fathom Blue SS Camaro. But I knew where a 4 speed 1970 Trans Am was sitting, finally got the courage to ask the old guy if he would sell it and was told it would rot in the ground before he sold it. Many years later visiting family back home, it had a tree growing out the hood.😂😂
Hey bud..you need to put the oil pan bolt back and throw 2 gallons of kerosene in and walk away from it.then come back in a day and drain it.i had the same year once apon a time.mine had pontiac 350.peace
The owner of that car isn't too smart when it comes to moving cars to load on a trailer. Why did he hit the brakes when backing out of the driveway? What was he thinking he was going to do if the cable broke on the winch while pulling the car onto the trailer?
Stop the Derek crap. Get your own style. As for the water oil in motor, get the air gun out and agitate it from the drain hole. Mixes it up a bit. Add some diesel or something to thin it out. ❤❤
Everyone borrows from everyone. I hear Derrick using Mortskes lines . Brent from Half-ass Kustoms using Mortskes lines . No Bueno. Chris from NNKH using Chris fixs sayings . The list goes on and on . Garage TH-camrs watch other garage TH-camrs and sometimes use their catch phrases No big deal everyone gets along .. No reason to be a hater . Jack has his own unique style and what matters the most "Boys& Girls " is Jack is a very Knowledgeable Car Mechanic ....
The first mistake that guy made was putting a Chevy engine in that. He should have gotten a 69-70 Pontiac 400, which would have more horsepower than that SB Chevy
Now I have to explain to my child why u were putting gloves on and saying open up and say ahh I told him u were a pontacoligiat it's a doctor for female trans ams
Looking forward to the engine pull and break down. I'll be watching!!!!

Epic video as always Jack ! Stinks about the engine definitely No Bueno !!
Cool bird brother enjoy it .... I love the first generation Firebirds I build these car's right here on TH-cam
Cool car I like the 1970 transam
I like this rear window ( dont care for the 75 & later)
Yeah, I agree - rockers run down that far usually means incorrect pushrod length
How come you don't pull the oil pan to clean it out
Love 70 to 73s. Hard to find

Buddy that is a cool camera deal I like it.
@@bitlittle457 Amazon has it
Had a 79 berlinetta. Ac worked. Zero rust. I liked it. Neighbor had a Shelby in his driveway for 10 yrs. Rotting. Sad.
Appreciate the videos!
Man I got a 1971 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 so I'm looking forward to seeing that Firebird fire up and back on the road.
Nice to see somebody still knows how to use a cross wrench on the lugs. Almost a lost knowledge.
You gotta rig up something on the front of your side by side to push cars lol.

It was the original 6.6 L it would be worth a small fortune that was a 455 ho motor it was a rare option for the 1970 Pontiac Firebird
That engines toast. I’ll bet there’s not going to be much you can save if anything. Water can do some awful damage inside an engine.
Looked like a Formula
whats the story with the two monte carlos
Nice hat I love your dogs ! Excellent video, I wonder what year block that is ? 4bolt main ? Look forward to seeing the next video on Tweety!

Who are u Rocky balboa ?
1:06:37 you should pull that pan
Push rods are too short, making rockers too low

I believe you could still get a 400 in those cars
Yup or a 455
Teal trans am or cloned parts?

There are only two reasons why your car winds up like that, you're in the hospital or in jail. Otherwise I just don't get it
