ANM Global hosted a webinar on June 1, 2020 on ‘FIR to Chargesheet’. The journey between FIR and Chargesheet is the procedure adopted by the investigator as contemplated under the provisions of Cr.P.C. to investigate into a cognizable offence. The prominent defects/lapses during this journey of investigation, are the trump card for a defence lawyer.
Our esteemed speaker was none other than Senior Advocate Mr. Ramesh Gupta, one of the leading criminal lawyers in India. Mr. Gupta is a senior counsel in Delhi High Court who has acted as defence lawyer in high profile cases like Sanjeev Nanda BMW case, 2G spectrum case, Coal scam , CWG Scam to name a few. He is also the former chairman of the Bar Council of Delhi. The webinar was moderated by our partner Mr. Rajendra Prasad who heads the Bengaluru practice of the firm and brings with him rich litigation experience of over two decades.
