You can apply the same knowledge to Basketball hobby boxes or baseball hobby boxes if you choose. I shop for football hobby boxes daily and buy all the latest releases so i will share with you how i price compare each of them to make sure i'm getting the best deal possible on Each Hobby box of football cards i purchase!

Great video as always. This type of content is a great addition to the channel. Things like this don’t cost you hundreds of dollars and the community benefits. Was a long video but thorough and full of good info. If you do something similar, might just break it up in different parts. This video answers a question I see pretty much everyday on Reddit in most sports card subreddits.

My personal favorite is Dave and Adams. If you make a membership with them you get points for every order and there’s different tiers for how much you spend and you can save even more money in the long run with your orders. Plus they usually send a free pack of some thing with your order which is nice, great video.

Haven't gone through much of the video yet but to see the new Select blaster listed for $59.95 ouch. I think the best way to shop on all the sites is presell and shop for the presell price.
Depends. Sometimes the presells are way to thigh and it drops a lot on release. Just depends on the direction of the hobby market. I’ve seen it swing both ways several times over the last couple years

Yeah this is really for those who don’t have a good LCS near them. I would suooort my LCS if they weren’t forced to charge really high prices
@@SLVRsport yea I’m from Kansas City and everything that has just dropped recently my card shop is $5 under eBay prices, so I buy all my boxes from them
Panini has been the cheapest for me honestly or finding a good bid on eBay
if you dont pay tax, i could see that. Lately some of their new releases have been close to the cheapest, but i often buy from another retailer if its close in price cause panini takes their sweet time shipping it out. (usually 2 days in my experince)

Just Incase you don't know about em but Chris who runs cards infinity has been on TH-cam for 15 +years he has a brick and mortar location in Nashville and you can either have him ship your product unopened or he does customer breaks every day also has some really good buys always has...also does alot of baseball but does a bit of everything is Houdini with cheap fun breaks another O.G. in the card game plus dude always gives away a ton of high dollar stuff especially for subscriber monumenta 10k 50k and so on with over a 100k easily.....I don'thave any affiliation with them I just like them the same as I love your channel please keep doing what your doing......Rusty Kuntz

Great video. You reminded me to stay away from Panini. Their prices are ridiculous. Unfortunately many buy no matter the price. I can understand you buying up to keep your channel going. But us regular collecters, that's not an option. Hobby boxes we watch on TH-cam. I'm more Chuck like. 😂🏈🔥🤙💯🙏

Yeah hunting for deals really can pay off. Sometimes I can find product at another retailer cheaper than I can get it from my distributor.

At the end of the day it's a hobby and very few hobbies really make money. I have never seen an angler catch a better fish with a $2000 rod than they did with a $50 rod. Nevertheless, price / performance must be balanced and I don't see that with many products!

How does card giants get cases of retail? I thought retail only went to mj holdings or whatever and then to big chain stores

My opinion is $$$ should be EVERYONE'S top priority for the good of the hobby anfmd "True" collectors as a whole.
I also REFUSE to buy ANYTHING from scumbag scalpers/secondary market sellers and wannabe breakers.
IMO anyone buying from these people are not at all truly concerned with cost because by supporting said "people" you are adding to the problem.
People also are upset for not being able to get some products when all those scumbags are selling them all at a mark up on line.
If you think about it, this is the only thing I can think of that people are willing to pay waaaaaaay above MSRP to get.
Do you know a single person that would walk onto a car lot and be willing to pay double or triple the sticker price???? NO, No one would. So, WTF are people willing to put up with that BS here????
If we all would get together, just for the short term, and REFUSE to buy ANYTHING from those scumbags, you KNOW things would change.
No one cares who is buying as long as someone is.
People make it VERY clear to any other company (IE: Target, Bud Light, Chic-Fil-A, etc...) when they are not happy with what is going on.
Why can't we ALL sacrifice temporarily for the good of ALL of us in the long run??

im with ya man. however, when demand outpaces supply, prices go up in every category. i dont blame companies for upcharging becuase if they didnt another middle man steps in and resells for a piece of the profit anyway..I would love to see the hobby stand up and revolt but if it was gonna happen you would think it would have by now

I do have one but he charges blowout prices. I spent 50k in his store in the first year and I just didn’t feel like he treated me accordingly so I found my own way

You do know making videos people want to view is a a very profitable business. These sites spending these big amounts are mostly using business money they earned on youtube and such. Mech, advertising .

Have you had any experiences with Steelcity or Mojobreaks? I had a great experience with Steelcity. I have bought from mojobreaks in person very friendly atleast in San Jose CA.

When You Buy Single Boxes There Is No Control! It could be from a weighed out case, it could be from a dud case in-store, it could be from a dud Break that didnt sell! So many Options that Benefit The Holders of the Case/Box! The Consumer is the Issue Quit Paying So High Prices an Losing! Buying into Breaks are better than Buying Single Boxes! Thats even with the Rigging lol! Buy Singles of Who You Want! Relics are Worthless Bring Back Game Used that Actually are a Piece of History! This Industry has a HighEnd Market Make Them Earn It For The Prices Of These Cards.

I really never understood the whole "investment" thing. Since when is a hobby considered an investment? I don't know too many hobbys that you expect to get more money out than you put in. If you wanna "invest" play the stock market or start a business. I also don't understand why people give a shit what others spend their money on. Plus there's no right or wrong way to enjoy a hobby. That's my local LCS. They're not shady. I've bought into breaks with them, bought sealed wax in-store and on whatnot. They do trade nights and raffles. I've never felt like I was taken advantage of shopping with them.
