Such a beautiful part of the country at Loch Katrine - loved the drone shots. Also loving that simple tightners you have on the outer ropes..simple yet very effective and easy to adjust! Bravo miseur!
Nice tips, thanks. I have the same tent. I sewed an attachment point to the hem of the rain fly half way along each of the sides apart from the door. Then I used bungie to pull the hem away from the inner to prevent drips
Hiya pal, hope you are well. You recently gave me aome advice on looking for a little more room than my bobcat (on a budget) as i looked at your 3ful taiji 1 that i like the look of but lao tnis come on my radar qith the 4season t door inner. (Very light) . I do carry one pole to mod the bobcat rear. Thoughts between the taiji 1 and lanahan 1. Which would you choose for a mixed weather camp and feel safer in. (Not this weekend though 💨💨).as close to bobcat in strength as it's a tank of of tent but with a tad more room and good for winter camps Cheers pal
Hi 👋 I would say the main differences are that the TAIJI will go up more easily and will be more likely to retain the original pitch without adjustments - the lanshan will however be much lighter and take up much less space in your pack. Comfort wise I’d go for the TAIJI. If I was going long distance and didn’t want to carry weight I’d go for the lanshan. 👍🏻
@@pueblo1960 Hey 👋 Thank you for those kind words I really appreciate that. I’m not hands on familiar with the Mier tents but had a little look online and the same will apply by the looks of things 🙂👍🏻
Hey man, kushty mod setup. Just a suggestion you can get one of zpacks stick on loop to hold the fold of the door on your tent, saves you from having miscellaneous items with you

Great idea, they’re good little tents with a few simple mods! 💡 🤓 Thanks 🤩
Nice paddle and camp. Great video. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks Arnstein and thanks for taking the time to tune in. I’m currently watching your Lindworm video. Incredible location 🤩
Lovely edit Jamie - can't wait to get out. Gies some weather...👍👊
Cheers! Yes we deserve some better weather, it’s been drab AF 🌧️
So beautiful countryside scenery
It is, we are blessed with scenic locations here In Scotland. Really enjoying the Lanshan 1 btw, good little tent!
My mates got the same tent, great set up always handy to take a tarp so u can enjoy a nice chilled beer out of the rain😁
@@WildBorkysadventures Absolutely Borky! Can’t beat a few beers and a scran under a tarp. Cheers fella 👌🏻
good vid, youve obviously watched " long suffering hiker" vids ;-)
Yes absolutely hence me mentioning him twice and crediting him 😆
Nice. I put thin elastic cord on the inner too.
Spot on, it makes total sense to do that. Cheers Rod, hope you’re doing well fella 👌🏻

See if I get a Lanshan I'm sending you the bill!!! 🤣🤣

Nice video buddy no drowning monkey this time 😂😂
@@galavantinggav7025 😆 Aye poor Monkey but he doesn’t mind, it was a cool photo 😆
Great vid, how were the ticks
Delighted to report that I didn’t get any and didn’t see any. Last couple of outings up north they’ve been rife tho. Horrible wee beasties.
If you pitch it with the point down you have more head space. It's called 'The Australian Mod'. I bet you didn't know that.
Nice khaki bungee BTW.
😂 G’day mate. Fair dinkum I’d not heard of that one before you’re right 🦘
