Taiji is a nice tent but I think you're missing the point of the Durston X-Dome 1+ 😄 The solid inner is in coming, X-Dome is fully freestanding and is 1kg.
Cheers man, not missing the point though I was just saying the X-Dome isn’t for me, for now 🙂 A solid inner on the Durston will be a marked improvement for the climate here.

@campingcaledonia76 . Sorry to ask again pal but I come to you as you are a bobcat user too. I am wanting a robust 1 man tent that isn't too heavy but more room than the bobby. I was torn between the helm 1 or the Taiji 1 however I have noticed that the 3f UL has just dropped to £109 or £1@9 for 4 season inner. That is nearly 100 cheaper than the helm. I like a budget but is it a belter for my needs. Basically I am torn to save up for helm or give this a go as not to many reviews on this but lots on the helm but it is older.
@andrewstennett3186 I’d say go for the Taiji and pocket the difference 💰 🙂 I’m sure the Helm is great and you’d be happy with it… but I own a Bobcat and a Taiji and and I’m more than happy to never buy a Helm. I think the Taiji is better looking too. Enjoy new tent day when it comes whatever one you go for 😊 🏕️ 👍🏻
Tbh not sure it can be realistically compared to a tent nobody yet has ? Pretty sure that’s more about driving clicks than reality Plus, just so you know, the x boil tabs insert on the other side to what you used here which gives a full and sturdy round shape.
Cheers Mark 🙂 Aye the xboil is a brilliant little stove, I’ve used it tons, was just making a quick morning cuppa and the pot sat on fine without clipping it up. Versatile! As I said in the video the X-Dome will be a brilliant tent 👍🏻

Hi Andrew thank you for visiting the channel.
