I played this at my band camp in UTSA it was our opener for the concert and I loved every second of it and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since such a bad ass piece !
by far one of my favorite band song. it reminds me of marvel ngl. It just sounds so nice and i love the tone changes thru out the piece. and the percussion is my fav part. but im also a lil biased pc im in percussion. Ive never played this song sadly, but when i first heard it being played by other students, i instantly knew this wad my fav. i wish i woulda tried out for honnors so i could play it.

hey! would you mind telling me how it went? we're playing this piece for marching band and i'm a flute and i was wondering if the part right before that was a flute solo or soli? also did you play it with them as a duet (alto + flute)?
@@Mia-qg1dx It was a shared melody between a flute, clarinet, and alto sax for the first bit, before the alto switches to background while the baritone takes over. I believe flute and clarinet both had the melody throughout, but I haven't seen their parts.
