Journey Faithfully Rocks a Hot Truist Park in Atlanta

- Journey didn't let the 90 degree temperatures stop them from warming up an adoring crowd in Atlanta on Saturday night, June 13, 2024. They came to Truist Park on tour with the Steve Miller Band and Def Leppard. I'm not sure you can say Journey is the Gen X Taylor Swift, but there wasn't a soul on the floor didn't know the words to their songs. The band looked like it was having as much fun as the crowd. They blasted their way through their hits ending with the always popular, "Don't Stop Believing." Here is one that made them popular in the 1980's with its intro by Jonathan Cain who would eventually go on to wear an Atlanta Braves Jersey. #rock #journey

My wife and I were there. What an awesome concert by Steve Miller Band, Journey and Def Leppard! Dang it was hot in Atlanta that day!

Very clear that his voice didn't get enough rest in between schedules
That was painful to listen too. He is pretty spot on most nights. Once he got to stage right where his wife was standing he lost time and the more he tried to catch up the worse it got. It was hot that day and I’m sure he could have used some more rest. They had a great run this tour and hope he and the rest of the guys have some well deserved down time.

What's with AP and his "stylist"? Starts as a personal assistant, then transitions to a stylist who travels with his client and sometimes the client's children. Seems to share hotel rooms. I know of no other stylist/personal assistant so immersed in their client's life. And now, the lack of AP's wedding band, which he's never been without in almost 17 years, seems to be very much a clue. He needs a PR person to tell him to stop posting some of those pictures. You 'stylist' laying in a hotel bed with your teenage son? If I was the mother, I'd be more than a little pissed off. Be true to yourself and live your life the way you choose, just be smarter about some of these social media posts. Take your own advice - not everyone has your best interests at heart, no matter how long they've been around.

Arnel spent over 2 decades trying to sing like the great Steve Perry.
He is not trying to sing like Perry! Its just heppen that sometimes his voice sounds like Perrys voice.Arnel is just doing his job singing the journeys catalog and legacy thats it. Its 2024 move on.

@noelvidal456 The problem with you, is you stuck to the old videos of Steve video performances and recordings in his prime 40 years ago. SP probably does not want to be back because first, he knows it would never be the same. Second, of course fans would compare him to Arnel and third, Steve Perry now compared to Steve Perry in the 80s.

@@Aldwen I'm not saying do not watch or stop watching old videos of Steve w Journey. The point is, a lot of you still think that if Perry returns today, it would still be the same as what you see in the old videos, remember Steve is 75 now. And the "Steve does not want to get back to Journey". is not my own claim alone, it's been a known observation of many based on written articles and entertainment news. If you are from the US, You should know more than me. And to Arnel (57 now) singing "faithfully", he has done it probably a thousand times, because of their concert tours since 2008. Of course there would be a bad versions. There are more better even best rendition of Arnel singing "Faithfully" here in YT and to add, this was the song he was singing when Neal Schon saw it in TH-cam in 2007, resulting to him getting the lead singer of Journey. Arnel was 41 already at that time.

This band should hang it up, sooo much drama, and the only reason so many people going to see the m is because two other groups are there and imo are better than these drama queens of journey... Plus NS is still jealous of SP because he made this band what it was in the late 70 and 80's because no radio stations play any of their new songs which is horrible....retire guys you already have destoryed the Journey name
