First of all, congratulations on Notre Dame and Dartmouth!! Both are amazing schools!! If I were you I would strongly consider Dartmouth because of the opportunities you will receive. Again, both are great schools but going to Dartmouth is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you can always go to another school of your choice for a Master's program! Best wishes wherever you decide to go!!
Holy Sh*t!!! Congratulations for Dartmouth. LOL Darthmouth is an obvious choice. For what you want to study, I think it's better for it and you have to think about the path for your master's, which is Harvard or MIT. Good luck!
Congratulations!! I highly recommend Dartmouth!!! I’m a ‘92 and my daughter is a ‘25! She loves it!! If you haven’t visited, go! You will fall in love!! Welcome to the Woods!!!
@@rubayaafzal2658 I was a double major in Sociology and Film Studies. I was an undergraduate at Dartmouth. I then went to law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I can’t believe that. 🤣 I am an international student, and I am in the exactly same position: I have to decide between Notre Dame and Dartmouth in the next few days. Hope to know you in the future.
Ur an international and got into ND and Dartmouth? Bruhhh, absolute genius... I had 1560 sat, aime qualifier, 4.25 weighted gpa, 11 APs and a full IB predicted score and only got into ucsd and uiuc... Someone fetch me a noose
Notre Dame! I’m a current freshman at Notre Dame, so I’m a little biased, but you won’t regret coming here. I chose ND over Northwestern because of the generous financial aid, tight-knit community, alumni network, and so much more. Although ND isn’t an ivy, it is still a renowned, prestigious school that will set you up really well for anything you want to do. Just my two cents, but good luck wherever you go!
Yeah, if you hole yourself in your dorm 24/7, have people to bring you food, you would be missing much. The anti-social type isn't typical of UCLA; I don't know how you slipped by.
Congrats on getting into Dartmouth, way better school than UPEN. Too bad you got waitlisted to Columbia, my Dad had his BS and MA from Columbia. I got excepted to NYU for a graduate degree in 1983.
You couldn't be more wrong is stating Dartmouth is superior to Penn. Almost none of its major departments are ranked whereas ALL of the other Ivies' major departments - math, English, history etc. are ranked among the very top schools. Dartmouth is far and away THE weakest of the Ivies academically.
BTW the nine Colonial Colleges are Harvard 1636, W&M 1693, Yale 1754, Pennsylvania 1740 (also known as PENN N O T UPENN), Princeton 1746, Columbia 1754, Brown 1764, RUTGERS! 1766, and Dartmouth 1769.
Notre Dame has the best network by far. Even though it is not an Ivy, it is looked upon just a favorably . If you go to ND, you will never have trouble finding a job.
Great video! Congratulations and don’t give up on Columbia too!
Hopefully I get in off the waitlist...

You are overstating the quality of Dartmouth by a factor of 10,000
This is a no brainer: Dartmouth!! You'll always have that Ivy League pedigree. Best of luck
The bottom rung Ivies aren't worth the $
I’m going to ND tbh

Notre Dame is better ranked for physics and math, but idk about econ. Dartmouth is an ivy though, so there's something good about either option.
I would go to Dartmouth. An Ivy is an ivy.
