    Your sheer courage never ceases to amaze and inspire me! I love learning from you. 😊❤😊 Rustic is one of my favorite looks -- beautiful piece! (Ah, fyi, having been a member of the Seattle Knights, and done a jousting workshop -- after only one year of riding lessons -- I can vouchsafe that a medieval lance is actually quite easy to manipulate with a single hand and wrist while riding on a horse... just thought I'd say...)😊

      I don’t know how I missed your comment. Sorry for the late response. Thank you so much for sharing. I love that you took jousting lessons. 😀😀 sounds like you live life to the fullest. 😊

    First TH-cam turner I’ve ever seen that changed hands when cutting left to right, like I do.

      I think there is a definite benefit to changing hands. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    You girl are not one to mess with. You could joust with that tool, and win. Thank you for sharing your skills.

      Hahahaha not sure if I would win but I am sure I would cause a lot of damage. 🤣🤣🤣

      Hahahaha. I was definitely nervous about using it, but it was too bad.

    To preserve the natural edge, use a Sand o Flex as Phil Anderson does. It leaves a super smooth surface on irregular surfaces.

      The Sand o Flex is on my wish list. 😄 Phil is one of my favorite to watch.

    Here is a sanding tip for you that I use . Mount your 2 or 3 inch sanding disk in Jacob's chuck then insert it into your drive arbor and run at about 350 revs to sand your bottoms , you have better control holding your work with both hands

    When you went to the first long tool and changed your camera and light angles it was clearer what was happening as you turned the inside. The second long tool was a little shorter and appeared you were more comfortable with it.

      Yes I was more comfortable. It is a scrape and not near as heavy as the other. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    My first time watching your Chanel, and your wearing that glove when roughing and boring scares me . wearing durable gloves around rotating machinery is always not a good idea, it is not a matter not injuring your hands , but how long before you become too comfortable and you do injure yourself . Nalgene exam glove in the 7 to 10 mil. Thickness prevent chips abrading your skin and if snagged on a protrusion they shred , not pull your fingers or hand between the work and the tool rest .
    The extra large hollowing tool is awesome. make a shop vac reducing coupler to use a section of 3/4" pvc , to vacuum out shavings not blow them out with air hose, which aerosolizes the dust , and you inhale it after you remove respirator without having a dust extractor running. Your finished pot is very rustic and the fact that you let the mouth at an angle just adds to the unique details

    Bowel looks good, never saw a hollowing tool like that. Who makes it?

      Thanks, Brad. The tool is a Trent Bosch. He has several different tools.

    Neither tool was carbide were they?

    • @VickiAndersonwoodturning
      @VickiAndersonwoodturning  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No they are not carbide. I am curious how they will preform on a piece with epoxy.
