Sure there are many intelligent teens who watch GD vids, but bro this is a kids game. You tap to jump over spikes. Yes there can be insane talent and creativity, but let’s not pretend that that’s the majority of the community. Also the earnings on social blade are way off since you make about 5 cents per thousand views on shorts, compared to $1-4 on normal vids. So I make much less than what it’s saying, though it is still a lot and I’m grateful for it. The only problem I have with this is that people think it’s my fault that they’re watching shorts. Or that it makes the community worse somehow. That’s like blaming being fat on McDonalds. Yes they manipulate you but you shove it into your mouth 😂 I chose the most offensive comparison on purpose btw lol. VERY based, absolutely phenomenal video, KaiGuy is essentially the James Charles of GD, where he gets crazy famous through sheer ass while others go through the true amount of struggle in which no matter how much labor you elaborate, it will never be sufficient enough. However, James Charles (and also Kaiguy for that matter) on the other hand will sort of take this Life: Easy Mode as a way to brag about their achievements and also belittle their more knowledgeable surroundings. I very much agree with all dialogues mentioned in this video as Kaiguy really is making wealth at the industrial scale while actively putting up hideous decisions and outrageous stuff, kind of like the government.
Honestly I never saw anything wrong with doing something for the money and not for the passion or because you like it. He rose to fame with no effort good for him I guess, but it has no impact on anyone that he has no passion for GD, and people watch youtube shorts and get lower attention spans with or without kaiguy. It isnt against kids channels its against kids channels that are blatantly lazy and hold no actual value as content. Years ago I used to watch youtubers like stampylongnose and popularmmos, who were obviously targeted towards kids, but made actually entertaining videos and not brainrot content. Popularmmos and stampylongnose were never hated because of this, even though they were kids channels
