I invested in a few pair of those Owner dual stingers Cody is using. I'm seeing a lot of takedown misses and shaking of the head misses/releases. Hmmmm. The pair of hooks are tied so that they are turned in to each other with the idea that they spread out with the tip of the hooks pointed outward on a downward drop of a jig. Trolling would seem to cause the hooks to fold in on each other with the points of the hook pressing inwards causing the possible misses. Thoughts on those hooks?
I have not had issues with using the hooks for ocean or river/bay coho or chinook. Some of our missed bites came from the coho swiping at the bait and not getting a full hook in them (no barbs in the ocean doesn't help). My hook and land ratio has been higher the last couple of years from the stinger hooks. I love the stinger hooks for salmon. I may use the stinger hooks and film with the underwater camera.
@@WillyFish Do it! I'd love to see how they swim and/or what they do when a fish hits them. I'm gonna give them a shot at B10 this season and see what happens.....not like we can keep any of the 300,000 or so unclipped URB's.
Who Loves Salmon Fishing? 👍🎣❤

How come so few likes with all these views? Weird! Great day out fishing!
