@4:37 Look at that diagonally mounted, rusty colored bolt in the bottom right of the screen. DIRECTLY beneath that bolt is a nipple sticking out from the fender that the vacuum hose attaches to. The vacuum reservoir is inside the fender here.
Is it actually??? It took me a while to find that on the Internet to BEGIN with and then actually found it. Is it funny that the vents because I have the normal rwd truck, it's a Sonoma too. I was poking at it because well noticed the vents weren't working right I found that like going to no man's land and the one that goes down, that's the vents one. Then I was like "well where in heck does this go?" So I got something to plug it and well check the vents again and DAMN, THAT worked amazingly the vent moved great after that. That's where I found that looking for it but is it? Or is it a like fancy way to plug it off? It there for a reason I know that and they made it like that. I know the like first Gen ones actually have the vacuum reservoir attached to the hood. I don't feel like taking that apart, too lazy and I need to pull the tank possibly for a dumb fuel tank pressure code and find out what that is anyway. I'm kinda lazy on that but I gotta do it annoyingly and I actually looked up the vacuum reservoir on the second gen S10s and Sonomas but nothing came up for me.
I'm glad it helped! Just here recently though I found out where that line goes and made a video about it. Hoping to post here soon so stay tuned for that.
I got for a minute and look where that end where you put the cap if you look straight down in your Fender there's a bolt the connection is underneath that piece of metal to the right straight down where your cruise control is at
It goes on the frame you gotta feel around it's between the abs pump and cruise control on the frame it's just a little nipple you can't see it,you have to feel for it
So the capped line u have on the T there on toptucks under the fenderwell lip right about in line and theres a little stub that it dead ends to so technically its supposed to be capped anyway
That vacuum hose off of that check valve goes to a little nipple underneath the hinge on that side you can't hardly see it but there's a vacuum pod in that fender housing

I own a 2001 Blazer that I've already redone the vacuum lines on. I promise you, that's where it.
Thank you for this video brother been having a dang headache with this situation
I feel you. It took me a while to figure it out too. I hope you get it fixed up.
There is a bolt on the inner fender wall behind the anti lock box and the vacuum goes behind the bolt on the inner fender wall
Well you answers my questions about that vacuum line! I was missing the same one you put the cap on , thanks !

@@k30krazy would love to see where this short hose goes
@@k30krazy I'd love to know where that line is supposed to go. Literally dealing with this exact issue.
Thanks for watching! Video is live now, go check it out!
@@shome78 I still couldn't tell where that short hose actually goes, I looked. So I put a golf tee in the end of that hose.
More then likely it goes to your drivers side fender under the hood its hard to see but its mouted to the side of your fender
it goes to the fender there, its hard to get to and see but it controls you heat and air, that is what was wrong with mine..

Thanks! After some digging here and there in my free time I actually figured that out about 2 weeks ago. Gotta do a follow up on it.
Thanks from western Colorado!
Thanks for watching! Glad it helped
It goes to the reservoir inside the driver fender
Very nice,. I have the same problems that you just described. Now at least I know where to look. Thank you so much for posting this video. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✌️
I'm glad it helped! Thanks for watching
Fender directly below the edge of the hood ther is a hard line under the black flap like three inches below the area ur at wher u capped that like
It goes on the frame you gotta feel around it's between the abs pump and cruise control on the frame it's just a little nipple you can't see it,you have to feel for it
So the capped line u have on the T there on toptucks under the fenderwell lip right about in line and theres a little stub that it dead ends to so technically its supposed to be capped anyway
mine isnt it controls my heat and air
The vacuum line go to the vacuum canister behind the abs pump on fender
I dont see where it goes that one on that tee next to fender
That vacuum hose off of that check valve goes to a little nipple underneath the hinge on that side you can't hardly see it but there's a vacuum pod in that fender housing

@@raydean well thanks for the reply but nothing wrong with the hose . some reason it cam off. hose looks fine. i have big hands . so irritating
It was a little tricky but I eventually learned where it went and did fix it.
@@k30krazy good deal! It's great when you can help someone just a little bit 😉
What size is the vacuum line
I don't remember I'm sorry. That was a few years ago and I don't have it anymore.
