@@Keovar Agree to a point. My brother is a musical savant. He doesn’t read music, he plays by ear - an amazing pianist. That’s blessed, not hard work or dedication. Anyway, my comment was not intended to be taken as if hard work and dedication aren’t a huge part of what we can become.

Most people are unable to imagine the emotional sensitivity level of this class of instrumentalists. What this girl must be feeling as she generates such sounds from her instrument through her body.

@@Aegilops With a couple of exceptions, the audio in her videos is not recorded live, and she's admitted to that. See her comment on Bohemian Rhapsody that says it was recorded "on a good piano", which the one in the video is definitely not. It's all about the setting. I don't think it detracts from the performance though, it's still her talent that you're hearing.

As a piano tuner you should know that the sound you are hearing is not from that piano..... (but it does look interesting for the video)😉

@@SunnyAustria Yes, I guess that was my point...A piano that looked like that and had all that stuff on it should NOT sound that good, but I didn't want to question the verasity of the video. It was a fabulous syncing job! Hammers moving, pedal moving, nicely done! Now, on the other hand, in my 28 years of tuning, I've heard some old uprights like that that do sound that good. They are rare, but they're out there. So, I thought maybe this could be one of them that is just a great old piano. Also, how is it that all of you have such insight into this video recording? Did you produce it? Just curious.
@@That_Tuning_Guy Hi Scott, that has nothing to do with the video. I play Piano since im 5 Years old, i can hear the difference. So ill see an acustic Piano and hear a digital Piano. My Brain goes : heeeeee there is something wrong :D Its the same with todays mainstream singers. Everything is absolute perfectly tuned and harmonized. Its unnatural and i can hear that. I do a lot of mixing and mastering, youll get into this id you do it every day.... In Terms of the age of the pianp. youre completely right. I have an old Upright Concert Piano, it was bulid 1917 and sounds absolutely fantastic. And for the video, id rather have a standing camera and a real performance with wrong notes in it than this show act. She slowly turns into a Peter Bence over the years :-)

We had an upright piano growing up and there is nothing quite like the sound they are capable of producing. This gal demanded that pianos very best! She is truly passionate! Bravo! I could listen to and watch this over and over again.

Your energy in playing reminds me of when we were at Disney World, 40 years ago. There was a jazz pianist there. The vertical surfaces of the piano were mirrors so that the people in the audience could watch his face as he played. That just added to the enjoyment of it.
