Are they using a contact pickup on that piano? Seem awfully well-timbred for an upright. It's also in perfect tune...also unusual. Then there is the professional reverb with early reflections, delay and surround.
Ms. Gamazda, I must congratulate you on your piano performance. It left me very impressed, and in fact, I decided to begin today at 71 years to practice again on the piano. Now I have time as I am half blind by a stroke and don't work anymore. I grew up in Cuba in a house where a piano and guitar school took place 24/7. I met a young Belgium 🇧🇪 woman Speech Therapist named " Aubrey " or " Supergirl" as she referred to herself. She looked identical to Gamazda this Wonderful Pianist. I was prompted to appreciate her compassion, ❣️ affection as is the same that you experienced post a debilitating Stroke through the very medium of Music 🎶 demonstrated by this Wonderful Piano Artist. Today, we would have celebrated Freddie Mercury's 75th birthday. Last year I performed a bohemian rhapsody on a street piano, which was out of tune, and cut the song down a bit. Hearing and watching Gamazda play evokes so many emotions that it's difficult to take them all in at one time. I reconcile all of those by simply accepting that for the brief moment in time, as I am being blessed with a performance from her, all seems right with the world. Но это тоже своего рода искусство сымитировать игру на изрядно поношенном инструменте и точно наложить звук учитывая что механика клавиш этого древнего инструмента наверняка не в лучшем состоянии, клавиши могут заедать и западать и тактильные ощущения совсем другие, кто играл тот меня поймет :)

I played classical piano years ago and can safely say Gamazda is a master of technique and phrasing on the piano! I've heard other artist's versions of these songs and they're not in the same orbit! When I saw this video in my feed, I thought "no way"...but I have to admit that you nailed it. Masterful playing! And that piano reminded me so much of my grandmother's old piano, missing/peeling ivory, sticking keys and all. How many hours I spent sitting beside her playing that lovely old instrument. I thought ok - again beautiful legs and a piano. But then it turned out that this is the best cover I ve ever heard. Well tuned old piano . Not so easy to play when the g key is sticking. I m impressed . I haven t liked the song. Till yesterday.

I've not seen a piano player that has the feel of a piano like you. You are truly a masterpiece. God given talent is rare. Sure a lot of people can play music on many instrrumemt but there are those that feel the it and you are one of those. God Bless.

When I saw this video in my feed, I thought "no way"...but I have to admit that you nailed it. Masterful playing! And that piano reminded me so much of my grandmother's old piano, missing/peeling ivory, sticking keys and all. How many hours I spent sitting beside her playing that lovely old instrument.
