Brother Rose! The guy who came out with the pie, Rosario. He's the real deal. Im 43 and first met Rose when I was 4 years old when my family moved to a small town in NJ. called Maywood. Our first meal was from a pizzeria named Angelo's. Brother Rose was behind the counter making pies., that is the place he refers to in the video where he was a partner. I still remember that pie with my parents and brother. I thought it was the best pizza ever. Angelos was the only game in town and everyone went there. Brother Rose always seemed to be there all day and night, no matter when you went in. I always remember how cool Rose was to the kids going in their, and as I grew older I continued to go see Brother Rose and became good friends with him. When I had my first son we would go there once a week to keep the tradition going. Eventually I moved and lost touch with Rose. The day I first seen this video I find out that Brother Rose is having a grand opening at his own pizzeria in that same small town of Maywood. What a freaky coincidence. It is called Amici's Pizza. Time to try Nona Slice House in Safety Harbor Florida. Their pizza is literally some of the best on earth, not only because it’s taste an aroma, but because it’s the kind that create many memories with your family. The aroma from the shop fills the air half a block away and always makes me smile. Also, the owner Jamie, has won the world pizza dough spinning competition multiple times.
If he says there is extra points, bump it down from the score he gives then you get the pizza score. A few extra for this and that is ok. take em away if you want a true score. Easy.
Either Florida has an extremely sneaky good pizza scene, or Dave is being a bit generous after only having frozen pizzas for a couple months, or perhaps it's a bit of both...
