8.7 on a closed box pizza, with Dave being late and they didnt know it was Dave that was coming makes this a legit monster score.
all that plus it was his fourteenth review of the day......WTF, that's a monster score before you even consider all of that. I'd definitely be sick of pizza fourteen days in a row let alone fourteen in a day. Not only did Davey give it a monster score after all of that but he went back for more, unprovoked.

Dave was devastated by the guy not being blown off his rocker by an 8.7. Brought it up like 5 times. Guy clearly knew the rules.
One thing ill say for this guys is that everyone else recooks the pizza for Dave. They put out their best possible pizza. They just gave Dave their regular pizza that everyone gets. That speaks to the quality.
I actually like the places that do that. I remember there was this one review where this old Italian pie shop owner told Dave he was lucky they were even open, like he wasn't star-struck or lobbying for him to come there and he charged him and Dave said he respected it, the dude treated him like anyone else.

I flew from Toronto to Montville for a wedding recently and tried this pizza, he hit the nail on the hammer with an 8.7 it's actually one of the best pizzas I've had
