GM Space Command has always been my favourite GM, maybe even my favourite UC suit, period!
I was so happy to see that you posted, your videos are so well made and your content is always engaging. I'm actually really happy that you're going for the WIP style video format, I feel like the more consistent, but smaller, uploads will not only boost your channel's presence in the TH-cam algorithm, but it will also mean that your fans will get to hear from you more frequently. Keep up the good work, I look forward to this build/paint with much anticipation!
Also, on the note of TH-cam and it's algorithm: your videos are more likely to be promoted by YT if they're over 10 minutes long. So maybe add a couple minutes of bloopers or commentary at the end of the video to pad out that runtime and boost that channel growth.

I usually do end up with a ton of extra footage but I don't wanna bore y'all
by making the videos too long, but a 10 min video is definitely doable .

I've been wanting to get into Gundam, any tips for new people?
Start with an AU or Alternate Universe series like Iron-Blooded Orphans or 00 (read as "double oh"). Then watch a video on Gundam chronology to help you.
Lemnik has a good advice. I always start by choosing and watching/reading a gundam story line before buying a kit. Then I choose the mechs that I like or speak to me the most.
Start by snap-building at first as well. What's really cool about gunpla is that you can build the kits without the need to paint them. If it grows on you, you can always start painting them as well!
