As African people, we don't recognize that mess of a book. We're going back to our ancestral practices.
@@TheLilly Yes African people are spiritual following on the footsteps of our ancestors. Religion came with the colonizers. The old testament is about the African history and culture. Our history was passed on from one generation to another mostly through oral tradition. Manuscripts which were documented mostly by kings were stolen and taken to the Vatican and hidden there so that it creates an impression that Africans don't have a rich spiritual past. The mighty men who control the media plagiarized and rewrote our story and made it their story for the purposes of control, domination and subduing the African people. So we should forget about the new testament and some Eastern Europeans who hijacked our story and changed scripts to make their story and claim that they are God's nation. You can reflect on African ancestral Bantu practices and culture and you will see that there is resemblance to the Israelites (not Jews) laws, culture and practices

The Greeks had no intellectual capacity to write manuscripts because they didn't have a history so they plagiarized our story and made it their story. The new testament is about Europeans and was written by the Romans for the purposes of controlling, subduing and having dominion over people and introducing their gods. The church was used as an advance vehicle for colonisation to tame people and subduing them and then steal natural resources. Religion caused divisions among African people and this perfectly served their intended purpose. In the African culture there is always a heavy prize to pay for not following instructions from the ancestors and this narrated in Deut 28. You can draw a parallel between laws and culture in the old testament and African ancestral culture and norms

There are many native African religions, each tribe has their own traditional religion or belief system.
The Yoruba tribe had Yoruba religion that were mostly based around spirituality and the Orishas.
