      Here are some just to name a few: cleanliness, before a specific pharaoah( don't know which 1) went looking for materials in greece saw naked men in barns sleeping with dirty animals. Returned with kemetic priests who bathed, clothed,fed & briefly taught/tutored them, sewer system, running water, lights on street corners, sea navigation etc. Not to mention the help given while in chains("slavery") benjamin Banneker, Thomas Fuller.

    Awesome presentation of long suppressed history of rich African foundations of world civilizations. I have always had the intuition that Africa was the cradle, not just of mankind, which is already an established fact, but of world civilizations but didn't have the hard evidence to back it up, although it should have been self evident. Now I do, thanks to your unique channel that is peeling off the scales from our eyes one episode at a time. I couldn't be prouder to be an African.

      Wêda hi, sorry, but erh, I meant mainstream historians from the West renamed Egypt. I didn't say they have anything to do with the name Alkebulan.
      However, I first came across the name in an article that talked about a historian, the late Dr Cheikh Anta Diop. He is a scientist, a linguist, He wrote series of books on African history and civilisations and in of them he wrote that the name "Alkebulan" is the oldest word of indigenous origins to the Nubains, Ethiopians, moors and other older civilisations in the continent. So he basically rediscovered the name.
      I've also read that his work has been scrutinized as it should, but he was able to defend his thesis in a debate against a panel of mainstream Western historians. The debate was on African origin, history, contribution to modern civilisations, and if Egypt was to be included in African history or not. It was hosted by UNESCO, both parties had about two years to prepare and I think It was held in 1974. Diop and Obenga (Diop's colleague) went against other mainstream historians.
      In the end, UNESCO gave a conclusion that favoured Diop, and he was later invited to participate in rewriting the general history of Africa. All these for me put credibility to his work and contribution to history.
      If you read to this point, thank you for reading my short TED talk. Lol

    SPEECH: One is inclined to be skeptical about the theory concerning when human speech began. We do not know exactly. However, QD Atkinson might not be entirely correct. Speech could not have started only 50,000 years ago.
    1. The Andamanese and the aboriginal Australians are some of the oldest branches from the African parent stock outside of Africa. Atkinson would have to suppose that at 75,000 BCE in Africa, and 60,000 BCE outside of Africa those branches spoke not?
    2. Yet the Mpumalanga Megalithic (Adams Calander) site in southern Africa is estimated at between 75-78,000 BCE. “…According to … astronomer Bill Hollenbach,….based on the rise of Orion …the suggested age of the site of at least 75,000 years…”.
    Those Africans who constructed the megalith needed brain development of the present-day variety for the level of conceptual complexity involved in astronomy, and human speech and brain evolution are closely related.
    Therefore, we would have to suppose that in the short space of 10,000-20000 years speech, which eluded men for the prior 140,000 years of human existence, suddenly happened? Implausible!
    It must also be further supposed that the brain and vocal contraptions which make human speech possible only evolved about 60,000-50,000 BCE.
    How could any of this be reasonable?

    • @african-history-fountain
      @african-history-fountain  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your great contribution. There are musings about the earliest humans communicating by telepathy. That story is told by elders throughout Africa. They say that back then, men could communicate even with animals and used the power of thought to make fruits fall from trees to eat. Here at the African History Station, we treat such testimonies with great reverence and open-mindedness, even though they contradict modern realities. Perhaps an external intervention ended that capability during what we've come to know as ''the fall of man''? Perhaps speech is a latter-day adaptation to the loss of that ability?

    • @Hist247
      @Hist247 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@african-history-fountainI will not dare contest any testimonies about telepathy and the power of thought which men possessed in the very remote past, or even more recent past.
      1. Indeed, I conjecture that those men of remote ages, may have had greater command of the senses and may have even used more senses than we do because of their direct integration with terrestrial nature and their study of the sky. As a consequence, they also may have relied more directly on symptomatic social thought compared to men today to understand their reality. So, either they used their brain power and related senses more completely than we do today, or they had a fully developed brain as we do.
      2. In any case, this means that speech likely existed for some considerable time before 50,000 BCE.

Y vemos los ciclos civilizatorios según la precesión de los equinoccios (año de Platón de 25.920 años)...
