- Can't believe my labor was so quick! How funny that I was watching these videos when my water broke and here I am posting one incase someone else needs it too.
Oh and we still don't know the reason my water broke so early but I'm thankful he's here and healthy!

My husband’s family laughed at me when I told them I had the car packed and ready the day I turned 37 weeks. My baby was born the next day.

I’m 33 weeks and I’ve been wanting to have my stuff ready since I was 29 weeks too😭😂😂 I had to resist so bad because I wanted to make sure we had everything before packing but after watching this video I might just pack my back in the morning because I’ve had dreams where I’ve already given birth and I’ve just had a feeling she’s going to come earlier😩 I pray she doesn’t but as long as she’s healthy that’s what matters🥹💖

Currently on my 7th months watching this today while ironing my baby clothes. When you said nothing is prepared not even mama’s bag I stood up and started to iron baby clothes 😂😂😂
That’s why I’m 32 weeks and we have almost everything ready. I think I’ve been watching so many birth videos that the babies came early and all I could think was”I need to be ready” 😂, you did it like a champ!!! Congratulations

Wow I will be 34 weeks this Friday and just saw this on my TH-cam feeds. Thank god I was not overly preparing, I have prep my hospital bag, baby cloths all washed organised, bassinet ready, car seat ready patiently waiting now. Bless all the mommas out there 😊🙏

That’s sooo insane! I can’t imagine how you mentally processed how FAST everything happened. With my first, I had to be induced because I was already 41+5. I labored for 35 hours before giving birth at 42w. I’m now expecting baby #2 due in January and mentally preparing for birth again!!!

That was amazing!! You barely looked like you were in labor at all! Didn’t look like you even broke a sweat😅 great job. I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant with my second baby. My first came at 36 weeks and I am so anxious that this ones gonna come even earlier😬😅
I went into labor at 34 weeks and they were able to hold us off till 37! When I got home from the hospital at 34 weeks, I packed a bag and put the car seat in so fast. 😂
Congrats! Videos like this are why I’m preparing now at 22 weeks to go into labor at any time since my baby could live outside of the womb now.
Unfortunately it's 24 weeks, not 22 weeks. Every year the weeks get pushed back further and further because there are a lot of lung, brain, and heart development in those few weeks of time leading up to your third tri.
They cannot live outside of the body. I do not recommend that, I had preterm contractions at 22-28 weeks and the doctors did not recommend going into labor at that time due to mental delays and health risks to baby. Basically baby can die. I am 37 weeks and have a better chance of survival. Any baby after 34 weeks has a better chance of survival.
I went into labor at 34 weeks with my first born and he was perfectly healthy he’s now 24 years old 🤍

I went into labor with my first son but I had just reached the 35 weeks. He was 4 lbs 14 ozs. Now is 8 and healthy happy boy😊

The nurses are miscounting my weeks i am counting 26 weeks and they count 22 weeks i am super confused. This scares me alot to hear that you can actually deliver at 34-42 weeks

My water broke 5 days after they stopped premature labor for me. I delivered our son 3 hours later, on June 1, my hubby's (Daddy's) birthday! ❤😊 congratulations!

Lol idky people think that women who go into labor before 39 or so. Pain is not that bad, the pain is still the same but ok. Great job delivering baby 🎉
My hospital bag is ready at 27 weeks.. cause I learned my lesson with my first born. I was still doing her laundry and literally my water broke while I'm in front of the laundry machine 😂

I’m 34 weeks and literally still getting the nursery ready and ordered his cot this week only. I also keep putting it off until “next week”, don’t even have my hospital bag packed. Needless to say, this makes me nervous 😅
Just had my baby boy at 35 weeks last week. I'd at least started packing a hospital bag before he came. From water breaking to delivery was almost 12 hours for me. He's in the NICU for now but doing well.
Is he in NICU cause he's born at 35 weeks
@@jazzerie6246 Yeah, that was the main reason. He was on a CPAP for a few days then just oxygen for a couple weeks. He also was on a feeding tube until the last few days he was there, when he was able to eat from a bottle for all his meals. Now he's 2 1/2 months and weighs a little over 9 pounds.

I cried like a baby while watching your birth journey. Currently at 34 4/7 weeks and had a contraction and spotting at 33 6/7 weeks. It was so scary and i felt so frustrated ( i had threatened abortion at 15 weeks and went on bed rest for weeks). I just hope that me and my baby will reach atleast 37-38 weeks. I'm 33 weeks and 5 days. Started packing hospital bag yesterday. Got car seat ready to put in the car. Got to get the rest of my stuff packed, though. Next week I order a few more things for the hospital bag so hopefully baby girl waits that long.

I was 1cm at 3:30pm and had my daughter at 8:10pm. It was insane! My daughter was 5.8 lbs and was born at 37 weeks. My OB said smaller babies can sometimes come very quickly because they can fit through the pelvis so easily.

I also went into labor at e weeks with my first born (son). My water broke too, and I didn't feel contractions until close to delivery (which was 24 hours later). My second (daughter) also came at 34 weeks (no water breaking- contractions). No complications with either and babies went home with me within a few days, NO NICU ❤

This is why I think you should always pack your stuff and set everything up at 30-34 weeks you never know they could come early they could come later
Babies come when they want 😊 they don’t give a crap whether you’re prepared or not
Iv been in the hospital for early labor contractions and I'm 34+1 they gave me meds to stop my contractions and it sky rocketed my baby's heart rate from 150s to 180-200s so they then transferred me to an even bigger hospital. After all day of meds and rest the contractions stopped and looks like il get to go home tomorrow

Omg I can relate to you so much with this. I gave birth at 36 weeks and both my water broke and I was 4 cm dilated when me and my husband went to the hospital at 12am. I was a mess too nothing was prepared, baby shower was the next following Saturday, didn’t have my hair or nails done, didn’t get my maternity photos either/newborn photos too and I had my lashes done but hated them lol😭😭😭. And I worked an 8 hour day shift too😂😂😂. But my birth was quick so thankful for that at least. Active labor for 12 hours and pushed for 30 minutes with no tear but I had that epidural tho 😂😂😭😭😭

I’m really glad you shared your story. I don’t know how young you are but there’s a lot people can learn from this.
1. If you absolutely have no choice but to leave your pregnant wife in the third trimester, make sure she can reach you in case of emergency (no do not disturb)
2. Have everything set up for baby a couple months in advance so it’s out of the way and taken care of just in case- nursery/baby supplies, hospital bag, car seat and stroller in the trunk, etc
3. No long ratchet nails for hygiene reasons and so you don’t accidentally scratch baby
4. Delivery is the marathon of your life. Whether baby comes “late” or early, it is helpful to prepare yourself and research as early as possible. If you’re going to childbirth classes (even free ones) as early as second trimester, you will feel a lot more prepared when the big day comes!

It’s very possible! My sister had 2 twins boys. Josiah and Jeremiah, 1Ib and 1Ib & a half, Jeremiah is in the wheelchair with Cerebral Palsy, Josiah is fine walking and stabled. They both were in the hospital for 5 months until they gain their weight. So please don’t say she’s lying because its rude and insensitive.

I've been watching different labor and delivery vlogs. Had my son at exactly 35 weeks and I'm due in 5 1/2 weeks with my daughter. I'm so excited. Great job staying cool. I was surprised you drove yourself to the hospital. "They" say we shouldn't do that if our water breaks. Congrats to you☺️

I'm 37 weeks and got almost everything, but only started getting things at 35 weeks. Oh boy! Thank God my little one didn't decide to come early 😂 😂 😂
Some women just have PPROM. I had it with my 2 sons who were 11 months apart. Membranes burst randomly before I was even in labor. They were both born with in 24 hrs.

My first baby took 20 hours! She was born at 40 wks + 2 days on May 5th too, my twins came at 36 wks + 5 days through c-section. Expecting my 4th due Feb 20th 2024 through vbac our 3rd boy and we’re worried about early labor.
