    Back from my trip! Can you guess what cities I visited from the photos in the video? 📱📸👀

      Thanks for the review Jack! One question - do you have an opinion on the latest version of Cinematic Mode? I know the big news was ProRes LOG, but I’m also wondering about improvements to Cinematic mode? Thanks again and well done!

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@pdcorlis Thanks mate! I really haven’t used cinematic mode to be honest! While it’s impressive to be done in video, I found the blur effect to be a bit rough around the edges. But that was quite a while ago! Need to give it another try! ✌🏻

    • @pdcorlis
      @pdcorlis 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JCKRGB Please do give it another try - while you’re at it, be sure to set the “f-stop” to something like 4 or 5.6. That seems to help with the edge masking of the effect…

    Have you used a screen protector on your device since day-one? If not, how has it held up in regards to scratches? I see a lot of feedback on the web that says the screen is very prone to scratches.

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No screen protector! Not a fan of them personally. The screen doesn’t have any scratches that I can see! I try to avoid putting the phone face down and never put my keys in the same pocket ✌🏻

    I just got the 15PM from the 13 Pro I couldn’t wait for the 16. I love this phone. Is it just me or colors aren’t as vibrant?

    Hello I have a Pti problem with my 15 pro
    when I start the screen recording with
    audio activated the image scrolls before
    the audio starts I changed iPhone more
    than 5 times always between the 15 pro
    series but always the same thing I wanted
    to know if the problem concerns everyone
    or it's me alone thank you for answering me
    I really need to know

    Great efforts! , could you please make a video on how to keep the battery health 100 % after 6 months because I am gonna buy a new one , thank you ❤️

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! To be honest I’m not really sure how I’m still at 100% battery health.. I’ve kept Optimised Charging turned on, and have just been using my phone like normal. I don’t really think about charging! ✌🏻

    • @marcochavanne
      @marcochavanne 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Enabling the 80% charge limit will keep it at 100% for a long time if you’re that concerned.
      But battery replacements are around $100 from Apple so I just use it normally and will change the battery if it ever gets too worn.
      I can say the ESR charging stand I have with Cryoboost keeps it very cool the touch compared to wired charging. Heat kills batteries so avoiding that helps keep the battery healthy too.

    Well, after doing an extensive research on many articles my conclusion: not worth it. I really really wanted an upgrade over my broken 12 pro max, but this 15PM isn’t worth it. I feel like apple is holding back the real photographer and videographer features for a later iPhone. The 5x zoom is garbage and useless for most cases. The 3x is removed from the 15PM which was one the most useful lenses. The only reason to get this device over the 15 or 15 plus is promotion. Which for me isn’t worth it. My 12 pro max looks smooth enough. And my iPad Pro has promotion but I don’t see a major difference between my iPhone and iPad. It’s not bothering me. So I went for the 15 plus. Cheaper. Better battery. Lighter and sometimes even has a better camera since the regular 15 models have a new camera sensor from Sony.

    • @iOmar360
      @iOmar360 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What about the sensor on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, isn’t from Sony too or is it an older one but designed for the Pro lineup?

    Six months = “long term”? Really? You must be living a fast life, Jack😊. (Kidding). Stockholm, Cotswolds, London, Riga.
    Re raw editing in Photmator - is app really just editing the built-in preview JPG? Try this - on phone shoot raw w/monochrome filter; see how Photomator displays the image and if the app can restore the color captured in the file.
    Almost 20K subs - can just taste it. 😊
    Hers’s a suggestion for future vid: tethering speed differences. On smartphone and Apple PC turn off WI-FI. (No Ethernet on PC.) Phone’s only “dial tone to Internet” is cellular. Then connect phone to PC using different tethering methods (Bluetooth, USB-C wired, and wi-fi hot spot.) Run speed test on PC browser and compare. Hope that makes sense. I tried this on Android/Windows and results were surprising.
    Cheers!

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s an age in the tech world 😄 and much longer than my first week review!
      Almost spot on with your guesses. The Cotswolds photo was a sneaky old one. There is one more city I visited on my trip in the photos..
      Photomator will prefer the RAW photo if shooting JPG + RAW
      Super close to 20K! 🎉
      That’s interesting, most of the time I do just connect to my hotspot wirelessly. And I have pretty good 5G here, I can get 360Mbps over the hotspot!
