@@cellman1829 I‘ve had it since December as well although I switched from a Nubia RedMagic 5G (released in early 2020) and so far I love it more than I would have loved any other phone although there are a lot of annoyingly simple features / options missing and sometimes also bugs. I often notice these small missed opportunities or bad design throughout the week, but otherwise it’s great and overall probably better than what any android could give me. BTW. I have the natural titanium colour which looks very pretty to me, what colour did you guys choose?
Congratulations! I have the 15 pro max in natural titanium since launch and have been very pleased with it. (I came from the 12 pro max). I was impressed with the optimized battery charging with the option to charge to 80% to save battery health. The 80% gets me through the day with normal use. Hope you enjoy your new purchase as much as I have.

Upgrade from 7 to 15 pro max on 1st December and it has been amazing. I got through 1.5 to 2 days easily without any issues. At the moment my cycle count is 62 with 100% battery health throughout these 3 months of usage.
Hi Aaron. My Wife and I looked into buying the iPhone 15 pro max. We also talked to our friends who have that phone. We have decided not to buy the phone 15 due to the poor battery life and several problems still effecting the phone. Hopefully Apple will provide a better product with the coming iPhone 16 Pro Max.. We will continue watching TH-cam videos to fine out later this year. BTW. Our phones are working gears. No Complaints.
Agreed. I bought it and returned after 3 days. The battery and heat was horrible. Portrait mode was incredible and Dynamic Island was cute and fun. But that’s it.
Been using since October 2023 and from Android to IPhone...its the best decision ever. Way less garbage, incredible battery that lasts me 10-12 hours of SOT but...i wish there were more camera options, GPS icon should be in status bar not ho through menu to activate it.

i upgraded from iPhone 14 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max on launch date and I’m really happy with lighter weight, camera 5x zoom is amazing and battery life. But the only downside is that the iPhone 15 Pro Max overheats a lot when editing videos or playing games and sometimes it overheats randomly which is kinda annoying.
Last week I dropped my 15 PM with a significant fall (putting stuff in the fridge with one hand and phone in the other) and it fell and hit two shelves, landed on my shoe screen facing down and picked it up. And there was a good sized dead pixel line from top to bottom on phone. Top part towards dynamic island became unresponsive. Apple care to the rescue same day. Had the blue titanium and switched to natural.
I've had my 15PM since November. Very good experience, no problems. A couple iOS glitches, no showstoppers, and all were fixed in later iOS updates. I have the black one and it looks like new. But I have a screen protector on it and keep it in a case 90% of the time, to protect resale value. So I don't know how well it would hold up for me if I never used a case or screen protector. Honestly, I'm happy with the 14PM. My partner has the 15PM and I can honestly say: no envy on this side of the kitchen counter. It's easy in my situation to comply with my two-year contract restraints as I wait for the 16PM (or whatever they call it).
Had 15 Pro Max 512GB since October 1. Battery health was at 100% until the 17.4 Public Betas. Now down to 97% with 174 cycles. Heavy user for work so I expected some drop in that, but the life is just okay compared to my 13 Pro Max. That one was a beast.
I am 98% health and 130 cycles and I see many people with 100% health with same cycles. Any idea how accurate this is? I only charge to 80% I’m very disappointed
You probably need to wipe it and restore from Icloud. I had to do that after bad batter life on 17.2 and 17.3. My battery life has been great since I did that.
It’s my phone I’ve upgraded from the 12 Pro Max! I would’ve stayed with the 12PM til I got the upgrade for Christmas (thanks, dad❤️) but this phone is gonna be long hauler. I’m already a huge fan of the display, battery, noticeably smaller and lighter frame and the better camera with photography and cinematography! I’m happy I received this phone as a gift.
That's the beauty of ios and iphone. I'm on my s22 ultra right now and onui6/newer android versions really seem to run poorly on it. Definitely looking into iPhone, because I see comments like yours over and over and over. People with older iphones so happy that they don't seem to want to upgrade at all. I'm tired of feeling like an upgrade every 2 or 3 years. 4 or 5 would be great, and seems like iphone does that well.
I upgraded from an 11 PM to the 15PM just a few days ago! It’s been great! How it compares to a brand new 11 PM I’m not seeing anything special until I get to the camera! The 15 is a ton better than the 11 and the 11 always met my needs!! I’ve yet to get outside to take more challenging images; I’m sure it’ll be great though! I paid 1,100 for it at Target, which is close to the same price I saw being advertised back in September! No big savings there!! I’m looking forward to the release of iOS 17.5 on Monday…
The iPhone 15 pro max been holding up well for me since got it in December of last yr battery life for me has been great i don't charge my phone till the next day sometime during the day.
I have not had any issues with my phone! AirPods are working perfect connection to the Internet is perfect and cellular is working well. I’m waiting on Apple to release new iPad Pro models. Hopefully that will be happening with you next couple of weeks. Keep up the good work! I bought my iPhone 15 Pro after pre-orders went live. It was delivered on time and easy to set up!

I agree with you. I received a comment when I mentioned that I put a screen protector and clear case on my 15 Pro Max. I am glad that I did! My friend and I both got the blue ones and the difference is easily visible. As far as battery life goes, I do spend time on viewing on TH-cam but I generally have 60-70+ battery life when I go to bed. I do believe that it is lower than my 13 Pro Max was. How ever the videos and photos are far superior.
Yes the iPhone 13 Pro Max had the best battery life out all the iPhones I’ve ever used, it seems that Apple is now making batteries of inferior quality, which is very frustrating and disappointing.

First time ever, I returned my 15 pro max. My battery life was a lot worse than my 2 year old 13 pro max. And it got hot randomly. Especially when on the charger. I didn’t feel confident in the 15 pro max this year. Something was off. Hopefully the 16 line up will be better and it’s a learning lesson.
Had my 14p for a year and upgraded to the 15p when it dropped. I can’t recall one time that I dropped it and I still have a nic on the body which is weird since it’s now titanium. I didn’t have that issue with my 14p. Either way it’s a solid phone. Will be holding onto this one for a bit until apple gives an actual reason to upgrade

I just bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max on 12th March 2024. I was using Xiaomi 9 pro 5G before. I must admit, in these three days, I am just worried about the battery of my phone which was not the case in Xiaomi. Camera and noise removal in video recording are not as good as expected. I think same things you can get on cheaper Andriod Phones. Apple really needs to up their game in Technology rather than marketing.
Insted of iphone 15 pro opt for 14 pro max. I enquired my friends who had recently bought 15 pro they said everything is fine but the battery life is not good at all hence i decided to go for 14 Pro Max rather than 15 Pro and I do not regret my decision even though its a year old chipset but works phenomenally. Oddly enough, my 14PM has a max capacity of 87%, but now acts like a new battery, whereas when i got it new, it was draining rapidly, despite still the same amount of usage throughout the day.
Also been using a 15 pro max since launch. Screen wise, this is one year I could have skipped a screen protector, as for some reason not even a tiny scratch has appeared on the surface. Got some very minor scuffing on the frame from some drops (it really does not like granite as it would turn out). Performance wise, while my battery gets me through a full day with negligible issue, playing games for any extended duration kills my battery. It still gets hotter than my 13PM did, but it’s not bothersome. I agree that the Dynamic Island is underutilized. I enjoy the uses it has, but I do not think there are enough uses for it. Overall, I enjoy this phone a lot. USB-C is wonderful to finally have. The Titanium makes a noticeable difference in weight. The camera quality is fantastic as usual, and the screen is clear and crisp like any other flagship phone.
I’m going from the 13 mini to the regular 15. Should be arriving today. I know I’ll probably often end up missing the size of the mini but I’m excited for the upgrade.
I went from 13PM to 15PM, the battery life on my 13PM was much better. I agree with you on blaming iOS on the battery drain because as soon as i updated to iOS 17 the battery life was instantly worse. I had the 13PM for about 3 months through iOS17 before getting the 15PM, that was still worse than my 13 though
I have a 14 PM and after a year and a half my only concern is battery health which is currently at 88%, I plan on waiting for the 16 PM to upgrade and I don’t think it’s worth spending that money right now.

I think I'll keep my iPhone 15 Pro for a long time. I think it's a really good phone, so if I were buying either of those 15 Pro or 15 pro Mx phones, I'd buy them and keep them for at least 2 years.
For me battery life is amazing, i finish day usually with 60-70% with 3-4h screen on time, so far im impressed with phone overall, coming fron Note 10+
I’ve had mine since 10/30/23, I always use a clear plastic glove with no screen protector. No scratches yet. I don’t like the new USBC port as every authorized plug I use does fit but seems just loose enough to cause the charge to disconnect while using phone. This happens both at home & in the car (not lint related, I always clean the port). I’m now using the charging pad more & more with a 20 watt plug & it increases charging rate. Still annoyed that in one particular residential area which is close to a tower, I have no internet access for blocks (I turn off WIFI outside because of this & still no reception, could this be Verizon’s fault or do I blame Apple)? Maybe it’s all the home WIFI & security cameras interfering with the signal?Regardless, I love the phone.
So I‘ve had my iPhone 15 Pro Max as my first ever iPhone since December, and while the rounded corners are great (and I use a case most of the time) there‘s a noticable gap between the glass and the frame. I suppose this is due to the curve, as on e.g. iPhone 13PM there‘s no such gap, but it still feels kinda cheap when there’s that annoying slightly sharp edge. I‘ve also noticed that the phone is quite a bit more hollow that the 13PM which again makes me question the build quality for such an expensive phone. My 15PM came with one medium deep and two small micro scratches on the TI frame as well. All of that makes me kind of question the builf quality this year, although it feels great apart from that.
I noticed battery life wasn't great on my 15 pro max either. I've since switched to the galaxy S24 ultra (love it btw), but I'm hanging onto the iPhone to see if iOS 18 makes any difference.
I regularly get almost 48 hours of use out of my 15 Pro Max, I also do not use social media a lot either, though I do stream a lot of music and TH-cam when I am on the go and the battery still has stellar performance. I have had my 15 Pro Max since January, it only has 29 cycles on the battery at 100 percent capacity, I also keep the 80 percent charge limit on as well. The AirPods Issue is absolutely a problem, connectivity is horrible along with bad audio switching when they finally do connect. CarPlay is horrible to, I have a 2020 Chevy Equinox which supports CarPlay, and sometimes it is just completely unresponsive and I have to unplug and reconnect to regain functionality through my cars interface. Siri also completely ignores message and phone commands while in CarPlay mode which is extremely frustrating when trying to reply while driving. I truly iOS 18 is as big as they say it is with a focus on basic functions instead of jumping on AI bandwagon.
Hey Aaron! I saw you go into settings>battery, but you can simply hold down on the settings app button and haptic touch will show you a shortcut directly to the battery page!
Always use a case with your phone. I don’t understand how y’all expect a phone to hold up for a long time when you don’t protect it well enough. Being an expensive phone isn’t the issue, it is an electronic and must be kept safe to avoid damage. The cost doesn’t mean it won’t break or scratch.. I spent a lot of money to get mine, I am protecting it !!!!! Case on, screen protector, everything I can to protect it.. please protect your phone.
I prefer to use it caseless for a couple of reasons. I like the texture of the device as well as the display without a screen protector. The other reason is to test durability over time as I have since the very first iPhone and then make videos showing how they hold up.
Well, this is a bad habit. I understand what you say, but protect your phone. Unless you are a billionaire and you know you could get another one the next morning. Just an advice from a young stranger.. I am very young to give you advice, but please take care of your phone. It is still expensive
While this is by far my favorite iPhone so far, in terms of using it caseless, the camera quality, the feel in the hand, the battery. Since day one and looks as if I bought it yesterday. I only put a FloLab screen protector on it. Only gripes I have with it is the keyboard still lags a lot (software) and I should’ve probably gone for the Pro instead of the Max, as me going from a 13 mini to this was a huge jump.
I use my phone just about the same way you do as well as upgrading every year. I have a black 15 Pro Max. I do travel a lot however I am wearing a heart pump that pumps my blood for me so I travel a lot to doctors appointments and things. I’m also a voiceover user I do have a case I’m just not brave enough. I even have AppleCare plus. 4:32
Went from iPhone 11 and loving it so far but I am a bit disappointed with the battery life to be frank. Perhaps I had higher expectations sure look it is still way better than my 11 😂

I love. One! A couple issues since 17.4 update…battery life is worse for me & always on screen going black occasionally which never happened before.
179 cycles on my 15pm and i’m still at 100%. I’ve used 80% Limit since new (October)
80% charge limit will help increase battery health and performance from 500 cycles to 1000 cycles

First time ever, I returned my 15 pro max. My battery life was a lot worse than my 2 year old 13 pro max. And it got hot randomly. Especially when on the charger. I didn’t feel confident in the 15 pro max this year. Something was off. Hopefully the 16 line up will be better and it’s a learning lesson.
Just bought my iPhone 15 pro max, a little late to the party, I know but I’m loving the upgrade from a 13.
I can’t believe it’s been six months now. I’m enjoying my iPhone 15 Pro Max especially the screen on the front. 🙂
Overheating issue?
Had my 14p for a year and upgraded to the 15p when it dropped. I can’t recall one time that I dropped it and I still have a nic on the body which is weird since it’s now titanium. I didn’t have that issue with my 14p. Either way it’s a solid phone. Will be holding onto this one for a bit until apple gives an actual reason to upgrade

"I'd hold off on it" I appreciate the honesty. I upgraded to 15PM from my 11 bc the constant crashes and battery issues in January. I tried to downgrade back to 11, but it caused issues and TMobile gave me half off on it. So, for half off on this phone, I'm happy for what I got lol. But I agree with your assessment Aaron
Battery life is so bad on it. I miss 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max battery life. This is no better than my old 14 Pro Max.

I just bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max on 12th March 2024.
I was using Xiaomi 9 pro 5G before. I must admit, in these three days, I am just worried about the battery of my phone which was not the case in Xiaomi.
Camera and noise removal in video recording are not as good as expected. I think same things you can get on cheaper Andriod Phones.
Apple really needs to up their game in Technology rather than marketing.
My 15 Pro Max battery is extremely similar to my 13 Pro Max at launch.
Insted of iphone 15 pro opt for 14 pro max.
I enquired my friends who had recently bought 15 pro they said everything is fine but the battery life is not good at all hence i decided to go for 14 Pro Max rather than 15 Pro and I do not regret my decision even though its a year old chipset but works phenomenally. I just love it. ❤❤🎉😂
Oddly enough, my 14PM has a max capacity of 87%, but now acts like a new battery, whereas when i got it new, it was draining rapidly, despite still the same amount of usage throughout the day.

Also been using a 15 pro max since launch.
Screen wise, this is one year I could have skipped a screen protector, as for some reason not even a tiny scratch has appeared on the surface. Got some very minor scuffing on the frame from some drops (it really does not like granite as it would turn out).
Performance wise, while my battery gets me through a full day with negligible issue, playing games for any extended duration kills my battery. It still gets hotter than my 13PM did, but it’s not bothersome.
I agree that the Dynamic Island is underutilized. I enjoy the uses it has, but I do not think there are enough uses for it.
Overall, I enjoy this phone a lot. USB-C is wonderful to finally have. The Titanium makes a noticeable difference in weight. The camera quality is fantastic as usual, and the screen is clear and crisp like any other flagship phone.
I’m going from the 13 mini to the regular 15. Should be arriving today. I know I’ll probably often end up missing the size of the mini but I’m excited for the upgrade.

Just upgraded from iPhone 11. It’s ok, even from the 11. I wish the battery was better 😢.
I went from 13PM to 15PM, the battery life on my 13PM was much better. I agree with you on blaming iOS on the battery drain because as soon as i updated to iOS 17 the battery life was instantly worse. I had the 13PM for about 3 months through iOS17 before getting the 15PM, that was still worse than my 13 though
I have a 14 PM and after a year and a half my only concern is battery health which is currently at 88%, I plan on waiting for the 16 PM to upgrade and I don’t think it’s worth spending that money right now.
Have my 15 pro max since October 2023,cycle count 79,max.cap.100%.Had 13 pro max,14 pro max & this is the best phone that i have ever had.Literary i am on my phone all day from 6.30 am,till 00.00.Currently my battery is 63%.Only when im on Face Time 2-3 times per day,battery goes down to 25-30%.Waiting for ios 18,think it’s gonna be huge.And yeah,16 pro max.
How do you only have a cycle count of 79 after using it since October last year? I got mine early November and am already on 130 cycles

I think I'll keep my iPhone 15 Pro for a long time. I think it's a really good phone, so if I were buying either of those 15 Pro or 15 pro Mx phones, I'd buy them and keep them for at least 2 years.
For me battery life is amazing, i finish day usually with 60-70% with 3-4h screen on time, so far im impressed with phone overall, coming fron Note 10+
I thought moving to a larger iphone would be a problem, but overall it has not. Overall my impressions have been pretty good.

I’ve had mine since 10/30/23, I always use a clear plastic glove with no screen protector. No scratches yet. I don’t like the new USBC port as every authorized plug I use does fit but seems just loose enough to cause the charge to disconnect while using phone. This happens both at home & in the car (not lint related, I always clean the port). I’m now using the charging pad more & more with a 20 watt plug & it increases charging rate. Still annoyed that in one particular residential area which is close to a tower, I have no internet access for blocks (I turn off WIFI outside because of this & still no reception, could this be Verizon’s fault or do I blame Apple)? Maybe it’s all the home WIFI & security cameras interfering with the signal?Regardless, I love the phone.
So I‘ve had my iPhone 15 Pro Max as my first ever iPhone since December, and while the rounded corners are great (and I use a case most of the time) there‘s a noticable gap between the glass and the frame. I suppose this is due to the curve, as on e.g. iPhone 13PM there‘s no such gap, but it still feels kinda cheap when there’s that annoying slightly sharp edge. I‘ve also noticed that the phone is quite a bit more hollow that the 13PM which again makes me question the build quality for such an expensive phone. My 15PM came with one medium deep and two small micro scratches on the TI frame as well. All of that makes me kind of question the builf quality this year, although it feels great apart from that.
I noticed battery life wasn't great on my 15 pro max either. I've since switched to the galaxy S24 ultra (love it btw), but I'm hanging onto the iPhone to see if iOS 18 makes any difference.
I have iPhone 7 plus, since April 2017, with batteri on 73%, so I always have a powerbank with me ! It’s time for a new phone, 15PM

I regularly get almost 48 hours of use out of my 15 Pro Max, I also do not use social media a lot either, though I do stream a lot of music and TH-cam when I am on the go and the battery still has stellar performance. I have had my 15 Pro Max since January, it only has 29 cycles on the battery at 100 percent capacity, I also keep the 80 percent charge limit on as well. The AirPods Issue is absolutely a problem, connectivity is horrible along with bad audio switching when they finally do connect. CarPlay is horrible to, I have a 2020 Chevy Equinox which supports CarPlay, and sometimes it is just completely unresponsive and I have to unplug and reconnect to regain functionality through my cars interface. Siri also completely ignores message and phone commands while in CarPlay mode which is extremely frustrating when trying to reply while driving. I truly iOS 18 is as big as they say it is with a focus on basic functions instead of jumping on AI bandwagon.

Hey Aaron! I saw you go into settings>battery, but you can simply hold down on the settings app button and haptic touch will show you a shortcut directly to the battery page!

Always use a case with your phone. I don’t understand how y’all expect a phone to hold up for a long time when you don’t protect it well enough. Being an expensive phone isn’t the issue, it is an electronic and must be kept safe to avoid damage. The cost doesn’t mean it won’t break or scratch.. I spent a lot of money to get mine, I am protecting it !!!!! Case on, screen protector, everything I can to protect it.. please protect your phone.
I prefer to use it caseless for a couple of reasons. I like the texture of the device as well as the display without a screen protector. The other reason is to test durability over time as I have since the very first iPhone and then make videos showing how they hold up.
Well, this is a bad habit. I understand what you say, but protect your phone. Unless you are a billionaire and you know you could get another one the next morning. Just an advice from a young stranger.. I am very young to give you advice, but please take care of your phone. It is still expensive
While this is by far my favorite iPhone so far, in terms of using it caseless, the camera quality, the feel in the hand, the battery. Since day one and looks as if I bought it yesterday. I only put a FloLab screen protector on it.
Only gripes I have with it is the keyboard still lags a lot (software) and I should’ve probably gone for the Pro instead of the Max, as me going from a 13 mini to this was a huge jump.

Noticed burn in on my 13PM I think I need an upgrade but idk if this 15 is worth it.

I use my phone just about the same way you do as well as upgrading every year. I have a black 15 Pro Max. I do travel a lot however I am wearing a heart pump that pumps my blood for me so I travel a lot to doctors appointments and things. I’m also a voiceover user I do have a case I’m just not brave enough. I even have AppleCare plus. 4:32

Went from iPhone 11 and loving it so far but I am a bit disappointed with the battery life to be frank. Perhaps I had higher expectations sure look it is still way better than my 11 😂
