@u214d got 40-60-75-95 on my bb614 and heavy gauges on my jazz. Going to chance a bit heavier on my yamaha too I think. feels like spaghetti at the moment :)
Great work. It's physically impossible to do that fast slaps on my setup. I should really find a shop that can do a decent work. Can you tell me what string gauge you use on that bass by the way?

@u214d only if i got the bass and played myself then i can tell u i like it or not. but i do like the sound in ur video clips. there r so many great jazz basses in Japan. Moon,Xotic,Inner wood, bottomwave, sound trade,atelierz,freedom guitar research.. you know i check digimart.net everyday.....but i can't afford those basses. i only assemble parts bass for myself. BTW, casiopea and Tsquare are very famous among Chinese players.... they r great.

イントロの途中、この動画では0:11から始まり、そのままAメロに繋がっていく、そこで使用されているベースのパターンは、階名で唄うと、ドードミ、ソ、ファ、ミ、ド、ソ というフレーズで、これはスタジオ録音の方なんですが、ライブではこれを、ドードミ、レ、ファ、ミ、ド、ソ と違えているんです。（注：この曲はキーがAメジャーなので、ド＝実音のA）
この動画では、u214dさんはスタジオ録音通りに演奏されていて、間違いは全然ないと思います。

I prefer light gauge. I usually use 040-060-080-100 setting.
How about your gauge setting?

昔のスコアには４弦でそれらしく弾くためにオクターブ上でTAB表記されていたように記憶してます。
外れているように感じるのはそのせいかと…
ほかの部分がタイトで気持ちいいので目立っちゃいますねw
