I wouldn't say well-researched, moderately researched. He's mostly right but once in a while he has some really bad takes where its clear he didn't spend much time trying to understand a frames kit.

I have no problem calling his videos well-researched despite some mistakes, since there are so few I've seen who do an equal or better job. And Azn get's extra credit from me for doing the work after a video is released and owning up to his mistakes when he makes them. Which some other creators aren't so good at.
If you use Archon Continuity then Gastro Regurgitate will inflict toxin, corrosive, and gas. Obviously, the corrosive is _mostly_ redundant with the armor strip regurgitate applies, but it is a third guaranteed status effect meaning enemies that die to gastro without taking viral procs from nourish will still have three status effects on them ensuring Nautilus' Cordon gets the cooldown refresh. There might also be a case for swapping some of my toxin damage emerald shards over to damage vs enemies affected by corrosive, since the gas procs and later bounce hits will be affected by that, but prior to the augment the toxin buff provided the mathematically superior bonus and I *suspect* it still will
Everyone is talkin Nova, Heli Hildryn or Caliback but noone's talking Grendel and this augment. Naturally so, because nobody knows his name since hes just Nourish to them 😅 Gastro is a incredible augment and im proud to see Grendel get more recognition 👏
Before this augment came out I already had a regurgitate build with Breach Surge and a BUNCH of green shards for extra toxin damage and Nautilus for grouping, Regurgitate pops the Breach Surges so fast that I was getting some INSANE damage, now with this augment I essentially multiply my already stupid output with extra bounces and then a lingering field for stuff like acolytes (if they manage to survive by dodging some bounces) Paired with a blast Torid for any lucky stragglers and everything goes byebye (Yes I understand Roar would likely be the better helminth but breach surge is more fun on Grendel for me)
6:15 ...you sure? I'm pretty sure okina's +30% movespeed passive is new and unique edit: Bo/Anku have a 20% one, so there's that. and Ruvox actually has one that gains 5% per combo multiplier

@@TiredDoktor6391cause the augment makes the initial damage aoe proc 3 times instead of once + the enemies are cc’ed and if they are grouped together, the gas procs do decent damage

@@TiredDoktor6391when someone gets hit with a gas proc, it produces a cloud. The ability clouds are not important, the initial gas hit is what's important. That has the scaling damage and if the enemy does the proc cloud remains. It can definitely kill enemies that walk into it carelessly, especially since these proc clouds can overlap. The ability clouds are just cake honest
Mecha set goes hard with gastro, turns a 14 meter nuke into a 30 meter one, dumps a bunch of armor for energy, gives health orbs galore when it pops, and makes the companion tankier with link fiber
I'd still personally mod gas/electric on any sentinel weapon I was using principally for Synth Deconstruct orb spawning. But that's an extremely minor point, here.
both. And strong in the sense that it isn't obvious, because on the surface, the Augment doesn't look that great. It's an...odd augment for sure. Not as simple and straight forward as the other ones we see, but it has very whacky scaling because of how it works.

I replaced the 3 with breach surge on the build with this augment. I suggest you try that as well for even more funny numbers on screen

Doesn't gastro's gas cloud have the same enemy HP scaling that the normal toxin procs of his 4 have?
I think the initial procs caused when the bounces happen might but the ones from the lingering cloud do not, unfortunately.
