This is a site where a follow up programme would be great. Not a dig but perhaps 20-30 minutes talking to the Durham guys about what they found following on from the time team and then putting the site and discoveries into context.
Yeah, a followup interview talking to the folks at Durham University about the work they did on the site, and what they discovered would definitely be really interesting!
I couldn't agree with Jim more. Guy has a real knack for comparing something from the Roman time to things we relate to today. A way of showing people aren't all that different then and now.
Agree totally with comments below; I mentioned this when voting I think, that when necessary, either a follow up programme, or youtube video, though I think it should be more mainstream when/if TT comes back on 'proper telly', or, to make it a regular episode, at the end of the series, to have a 'special', updates on all, or any episodes, digs where more info. came to light, research had been done, or further excavation carried out beyond the allotted time. (Though perhaps I just cant get enough & any extra episodes would be great!)
I hope there’s more follow up from these big episodes. What was found in the pots? We never see results of the post show technical analysis. Loved this episode. The boys were in great form. Can’t wait for new episodes ☮️💟😷
I am looking forward to the return of Time Team digs. Unfortunately, Tim Taylor is not the right host. He has been important to the whole process, but he needs to stay behind the cameras. He just doesn't shine like Sir Tony, Mick, Phil, Helen and all the rest. Even the pompous Guy would be a better host than Tony.

Would love to see a show of the Time Team's 5 most important digs, as I'm betting this one in those 5.

Great conversation
Anyone remember what time the programme used to come on? I remember it was Sunday tea time. Was it 5pm?
Well done. Under floor heating is back in a big way.
Please bring time team back but with a 5 day window

I think you meant to say 'Even the pompous Guy would be a better host than Tim.'
