Ролик час с хвостиком а в реальной жизни эта стройка больше года жизни отняла (наверно), а если бы позвал пару миллионов соседей китайцев, то за пару минут в реали можно было бы сделать. А если серьезно то молодец, уважуха за трудолюбие и работу мысли!

We normally soak bamboo in a muddy lake for a couple of months before using them to avoid termites eating them later.
Tip: always leave three nuts on the portion of threaded rod that will be cut away so you can use two as an anchor against each other and the third to clean up the threads on the cut end by removing it. If you don't have a tap and dye set or don't want to bother.

I don't understand how 18 Ga brad nails can hold the structure together

it looks nice and you are putting a lot of labor and effort into this structure, but as a trained architect and hobyist engineer i have serious doubts as to the load and capacity structural integrity. i have no issue with using bamboo its a great material but brads are not structural joints and will not bear loads . i also question the eventual weight of your structure and its live loads against the boyancy of your floats and there spacing , you may have too much span and be creating point loads where you have tour floats... more smaller evenly spaced would be better i believe. i suspect the older methods of attaching and combining bamboo are stronger than the modern methods you are using but my schooling is more in 2x4 spf timber not bamboo as it dose not grow here. thanks for the video
