As a autistic sixteen year old, I used to struggle with friendships. As a homeschooler, I didn't have the same social situations most people have. Nowadays I actually do have dozens of friends and one or two close friends. God has trained me in only a few short years to be able to walk into a room of strangers and leave behind a room of friends, all because he makes me strong enough to be social and be an example. That being said, I still struggle with talking to girls, I haven't had a girlfriend yet and have been rejected multiple times, so it does suck, and now the girls that seem to be my options are technically impossible, but God did give me a promise I would marry someone. So it hurts for now, I am trying to live as he would want me to, do as be says, and I simply don't have someone. But, I know what God said to me which is more secure than a vain promise of man. So, I follow him. So we are free to struggle, but not struggling to be free. You can even change, don't be afraid.
I am personally an atheist, but i can hear this bands passion for music and their religion, which is very inspiring regardless of what religious affiliation you are, i love this band.

I've seen Tenth Avenue North live 3 times now. Two of those times I sat front row centre, about 5 feet from Mike. One time I yelled "I love you Mike!" and he looked down and said "I live you too random screamer." honestly. Best moment of my life until after the show when I met him and got the bands autographs and he recognized me..I just love TAN. Absolutely the best Christian band.

Hallelujah! When a Christ-follower genuinely struggles with sin and temptations that means they are alive. An unbeliever does not sruggle because he/she is dead in sin. Dead people do not struggle, cuz guess what, they're dead! God hates religious legalism and fear mongering. Some people think we should return to that Hellfire and brimstone preaching, but that's probably caused more people to be bound by fear in the first place. That's really great...I'm so happy for you!! Even the "best" Christians fall away sometimes. But that's how we learn about ourselves and learn about God's faithfulness. I'm 21 years old, a senior in college, and struggle with sin every single day. The brokenness really hurts sometimes, but Jesus cancelled our debt. So consider yourself blessed to be going through this as a 13 year old. Keep challenging yourself to be a living sacrifice! We are God's workmanship :)
I don't exactly have a religion but I believe in God. If there's one thing I know is that he doesn't reveal himself. You're suppose to put your trust in him that he is there. God's not flashy. He does the little things that keep you afloat in life. Look for those things. That's how you'll find him.

Thank you all so much to the people who have been praying. I can tell it has been helping a lot! :) Next week at some point I am going to be taking the Accuplacer for PSEO again. If I pass I get more options for classes. It will be my 4th time trying it. I switch back and forth between feeling very confident thinking "I am going to pass but will accept it and not be to upset if I don't" and "I don't know if I can handle it again... " The past 3 times I took it my scores were pretty low. 10 to 20 points (depending what section) below what they need to be to pass. Every time I went in there and took it the previous times I would feel like the test went great and I got a lot of answers right... But then I would get the sheet and see the scores and the scores that are needed to pass.... I do struggle with pushing myself to keep going in school everyday, I lack motivation to keep going in school and part of it might be fear but I do want to pass this. I Know I am smart and can pass this if it was not for nerves, and anxiety and if my brain works clearly on the day. I have become kind of dependent on commenting on christian videos and getting people to pray for me. Maybe that is a bad thing, but I have noticed a difference in myself, my Moms arm healed great when she broke it, the doctor said it was one of the best elbow healings he has seen, and my friend Arianna is doing much better. Still has her struggles and could use prayers but is doing so much better! I do have people I can ask for prayers and I do go to church every sunday. But I find reaching out and getting even more help, truly helps a lot. Pray that I may pass the test? Again thank you all.

In my experience, everyone has struggles in their faith. If those around you truly love God, they'll listen and try to help. Chances are, they understand, and you'll really benefit from talking to them. Just don't give up on Christ and salvation, never stray far from his word, because no day is guaranteed to us.

Hi, Life update: I am now 19. It is almost Christmas break in school. I am still going to a college doing PSEO. I still have no idea where life is taking me. I am almost done with the two classes I am in. Finals are coming up within two weeks for both classes. I am nervous but feeling pretty confident I will do well but could use some prayers on that matter. I still don't have a job, I have anxiety about going to apply for one. I still am struggling in social situations. My mother and friend are doing very well. Besides the final test and getting a job eventually my other worry now is what I am going to do for next semester. I do not know what classes I should take. Last semester I took the Accuplacer test 4 or 5 times and failed. If I pass it I have more options for classes I to take in PSEO. I am most likely going to wind up trying again. Pray that I may pass it? Otherwise if I don't I will have to choose one of the very few options there is or start paying for classes which I don't look forward to. I will not be able to most likely not be able to afford it... But I drive now and am in progress of making new friends :) I feel I am basically blindfolded for the future and have no clue where I am being taken but I am trusting in God that he is leading me in the right direction.
I'd love to help you out at this difficult time. Need to vent, I'm a Christian, saved for years and seen the sad shadows on many roads. Anxiety is a "normal" part of growing. Nothing weird, and it can be helped it pass from your life. Praying!

Peter was scared of the winds, even when Jesus was with them. As he looked out to the winds, he was scared, and began to sink. Everyone, why do we doubt? God is right here with us. We just need to ask him to help us. As sailors, we cannot fight against the waves and the winds. However, if we aski God to help us, we have no need to doubt.

That song hit me in the heart. On one of the verses, where it says "we are free to struggle, we're not struggling to be free", it reminded me that I can't take on my porn addiction head-on or try to stop thinking about it on my own. Jesus will fight for us, and if we give it to Him, He will take care of it.
Hallelujah! When a Christ-follower genuinely struggles with sin and temptations that means they are alive. An unbeliever does not sruggle because he/she is dead in sin. Dead people do not struggle, cuz guess what, they're dead! God hates religious legalism and fear mongering. Some people think we should return to that Hellfire and brimstone preaching, but that's probably caused more people to be bound by fear in the first place. That's really great...I'm so happy for you!! Even the "best" Christians fall away sometimes. But that's how we learn about ourselves and learn about God's faithfulness. I'm 21 years old, a senior in college, and struggle with sin every single day. The brokenness really hurts sometimes, but Jesus cancelled our debt. So consider yourself blessed to be going through this as a 13 year old.

This song is so inspirational. When I was going through some hard times when my uncle's health took a turn for the worst, I was singing this song and it made me feel better. Later that day, my uncle got better, and I told my family and my pastor that I was thinking about this song and it helped me feel better, then I played it to help my cousin remember hearing this song.

Thank you all so much to the people who have been praying. I can tell it has been helping a lot! :) Next week at some point I am going to be taking the Accuplacer for PSEO again. If I pass I get more options for classes. It will be my 4th time trying it. I switch back and forth between feeling very confident thinking "I am going to pass but will accept it and not be to upset if I don't" and "I don't know if I can handle it again... " The past 3 times I took it my scores were pretty low. 10 to 20 points (depending what section) below what they need to be to pass. Every time I went in there and took it the previous times I would feel like the test went great and I got a lot of answers right... But then I would get the sheet and see the scores and the scores that are needed to pass.... I do struggle with pushing myself to keep going in school everyday, I lack motivation to keep going in school and part of it might be fear but I do want to pass this. I Know I am smart and can pass this if it was not for nerves, and anxiety and if my brain works clearly on the day. I have become kind of dependent on commenting on christian videos and getting people to pray for me. Maybe that is a bad thing, but I have noticed a difference in myself, my Moms arm healed great when she broke it, the doctor said it was one of the best elbow healings he has seen, and my friend Arianna is doing much better. Still has her struggles and could use prayers but is doing so much better! I do have people I can ask for prayers and I do go to church every sunday. But I find reaching out and getting even more help, truly helps a lot. Pray that I may pass the test? Again thank you all.

In my experience, everyone has struggles in their faith. If those around you truly love God, they'll listen and try to help. Chances are, they understand, and you'll really benefit from talking to them. Just don't give up on Christ and salvation, never stray far from his word, because no day is guaranteed to us.

Hi, Life update: I am now 19. It is almost Christmas break in school. I am still going to a college doing PSEO. I still have no idea where life is taking me. I am almost done with the two classes I am in. Finals are coming up within two weeks for both classes. I am nervous but feeling pretty confident I will do well but could use some prayers on that matter. I still don't have a job, I have anxiety about going to apply for one. I still am struggling in social situations. My mother and friend are doing very well. Besides the final test and getting a job eventually my other worry now is what I am going to do for next semester. I do not know what classes I should take. Last semester I took the Accuplacer test 4 or 5 times and failed. If I pass it I have more options for classes I to take in PSEO. I am most likely going to wind up trying again. Pray that I may pass it? Otherwise if I don't I will have to choose one of the very few options there is or start paying for classes which I don't look forward to. I will not be able to most likely not be able to afford it... But I drive now and am in progress of making new friends :) I feel I am basically blindfolded for the future and have no clue where I am being taken but I am trusting in God that he is leading me in the right direction.
I'd love to help you out at this difficult time. Need to vent, I'm a Christian, saved for years and seen the sad shadows on many roads. Anxiety is a "normal" part of growing. Nothing weird, and it can be helped it pass from your life. Praying!
